It can be, but will take a LOT of effort. It's easier to just switch to alloys n use tubeless.

            • Hero recalls Splendor ismart 110 but svc denies

Last year in February I bought the Splendor ismart 110 and from then on some or the other issues keeps popping up but nothing major other than some head noise and the bike not starting after parked in direct sunlight so searched on the internet about these problems and people were facing the same the service Centre is clueless and according to motorbeam hero has issued a recall for these problem and has ordered to change as many as 23 parts but on enquiring the service centre they just denied

My passion pro has clocked 67,500 kms. I changed the oil. Veedol take off 4t 10w 30. A few days ago while i was riding, the bike stopped for no reason. I guessed it was the spark plug. So i replaced the plug with an old one which i always keep in the bike. After replacing the plug, the bike started without any problems. So, i suggest the members to not throw away the old plug which you replace once in 10,000 kms. Keep them safely with you. It may come in handy when needed.

On last saturday I do some servicing jobs on my passion plus. The main one was chain sproket .I replace it with Rollen make .I use glamour's chain sproket. Whicha has 43 teeth for rear sproket. After replacing I feel the stress of the bike after 55kmph is reduced. Also it is little faster. I can say not more but a little.
I also do a clutch job ,oil changing(gulf 10w30) , carb retuning etc works. Now it is more smoother.Click image for larger version

Is that normal or it broke ? Ask in the spark plug thread for the engine to be safe.

Good job , keep us updated how new chain-sprocket setup working on your bike please . Where is rest of pics of the chain-kit ?

My Splendor+ chain-sprocket ( part No 40530-KE6-830 ) is 428 106/14T/43T , so Glamour has same chain-type/size and same teeth-count on both sprockets and the difference apparently is 2 more links on chain only . Right ?

Spark plug is damaged beyond repair , if the insulator ceramic part comes completely loose during operation it can harm the engine - replace it . My preference is for ngk plugs from using many .

Ashwanth bro and pinaki ji, the spark plug thread and insulator has no problem . I mean the white outer shell ,the cap is connected. That portion is fully rotates inside the 17mm plug nut.Today i replace the spark plug to ngk cr6hsa.
pinaki ji ,the splendor plus spoke and passion plus alloy has different rear hubs. Also the bolt holes are different. You can't install glamour kit in splendor plus. But I know only one thing ,old model (spoke type) passion ,passion plus, splendor ,splendor plus, etc has same hub so you can use these kits.New new model(alloy) passion plus, pro, glamour, super splendor share same hub so it's kit can be exchangeable.

I am getting a single kat noise from chain-drive when accelerating from standstill or decelerating suddenly too . I think the rear wheel hub ( cush-drive ) rubbers are either worn or got hardened from age . What is the average life of this rubber set in everyone's experience ?

check your sprockets for wear especially the front and also that they are tightened down properly, and the cush drive rubbers as you mention could be the culprit, check if the rear sprocket carrier has too much play. they are usually ok for around 3-5 yrs depending on how the bike is ridden.. and are cheap and easy to replace.

They last a really long time, I'm not sure as I've never had to replace the dampers simply due to wear, though as preventive maintenance they're replaced every time the chain sprockets are changed.
