The stock coil and rr wont suffice,i got my unicorns coil rewound with a 19g wire and increased the number of turns.I swapped out the stock rr to that of a ape rr.

Dude, Changing to DC & putting in higher wattage bulb is not easy task.

First of all what rating Battery you have, 3000rs for Coil rewinding is too much, I paid 1100rs including RR unit to run 90/100W on AC though.

What Ape RR does is convert all the AC to DC & Directly feed to battery, so you should have Big battery of atleast 7 or 9ah with APE RR.

If you want to make shift without coil rewinding, try putting APE RR & put 35W HID's with a bigger battery of 9ah.

                Hope this helps..

Regarding coil rewinding in Pune, post your query in Pune Offline g2g thread

& Coming to Alloys, you can try ZMA's or Xtreme's

I own a CBZ Star (2005).. And am planning to change my side panels and tail coz it makes some weird noises. What would be the price and will i get the exact graphics as on my CBZ...

                        • Karizma's alloys i am guessing are the same as the CBZ Xtreme's. If thats the case, the front wheel is not a direct fit on to the classic CBZ. The width is more, also the freont suspension has to be changed as well. Why dont u try the Unicorn/Dazzler's alloys or the Suzuki GSR 150??

I am not sure about it , but Jatin another mem from this comm changed over to ZMA's Alloys & Disc set up & He can clarify if it is a direct fit or not ?

no dude that's not a direct fit i changed my front fork rods in order to use the strongest of all karizma alloys..
apart from this x-treme's and hunk alloys are direct fit......
one other advantage of using karizma alloys is the disc plate
Braking is far more effective because of bigger diameter disc plate.
                              but is an costly affair.......
                              choice is yours

                              Regards
