If you can find out any info on them that would be of great help

DSG's service can be taken as an example here. I ordered for a tank pad and during the payment I inquired about the Puig frame sliders. I got an e-mail once the stock was available and even go a call for confirmation

I visited their showroom last weekend. They were relocating so every thing was packed. I asked for frame slider. I waited for an hour or so and then they said its packed and they were unable to find in 200+ boxes.

I am the 5th one in the list for Frame sliders.

Will be going this weekend there and ask for a good deal for the same as we'll be taking 5 frame sliders. Let's see what they have in store for us.

Curious Error

Hey guys ,

I noticed the first error on my bike over the last two days . After the bike's first service the bike is automatically downshifting sometimes . This happens after i change gear . Most often while shifting to 2nd from 1st . Its not a false neutral though . Is this something i should be worried about ? Any inputs welcome .

They are still in Naraina. their website shows new address.It is easy to find. if u are coming from karolbagh then take left from shadi pur metro. then take right (Red light just before railway flyover) then 6th or 7th building of ur right side.

Please advise which type of Motul engine oil should I buy and from where? I am presently in New Friends Colony area, New Delhi.

You can get Motul oil from Karol Bagh, Dhamija Auto (just on road opposite side to hanuman Ji Murti, RHS from the first cut).
As far I can understand from your post, you have done 2500 KMS on the ODO till now and your engine is still new then you must go in for Motul Mineral Oil 3000 4T plus 15W 50 (20W 50 is not available).
You can go in for semi-synth when you had done 5K KMS on the ODO.

The 1st-2nd gear switching troubles me a lot but I was not slotting it in properly. 1st to 2nd change needs a little more persuasion than the other gears. Slot it in firmly until you hear the proper sounding of gear change without grinding. Should be ok.

I second this!

I too thought there was some problem with 1st to 2nd as it keeps changing back to neutral. It often happened to me when i feel fatigued (my foot movement wouldn't be as firm as usual). Also check your footwear, if you have any play in your shoe then this scenario repeats frequently (it took me a while to figure out the problem was in my technique and not with the bike

)

Newbie questions, why is semi-synth recommended over mineral for an older engine? I've done about 6k on the ninja and finally planning to switch to Motul

Ok,
