That's a good price. It'll cost 36k brand new. However although the Auto tune- AT-200 can be used with the Ninja 300. The PCV-17-001 / 17-035 cannot be used with any other bike besides the Ninja 250r. The PCV for Ninja 300 is model # 17-046.

Hi jeof, that's not true. 17-001 is common for 250 and 300 as it does not have ignition timing. The 17-035 and 17-046 are specific for the 250 and 300 respectively as they both come with ignition timing. Ignition timing is used to advance the ignition to produce a little bit more power, but then you can only use premium fuel.

Hey guys avoid buying tyres from a h helmets in Andheri. The guy charges an unusually high markup price.
I would recommend the tyre shop right next to it.
Got psd 130/80-17 for 3.5k from the shop next to a h helmets.
110 was not in stock. So I had to buy from a h helmets who charged me 3.5k for 110/70-17.

Ohk, so perhaps my first post in N250R thread and I am writing this with my hands shaking.
By far stretches, I am not even the league but would want to.

I work in a reputed S/W company and we have a bulletin board kind of thingy.
I came across a post from one of the fellow employees that a Ninja 250R is on sale, 6000kms done, Sep 2011 model, Jan 2012 registered, Lime Green, Hyderabad Registration.

Reason for sale : he is going for Bullet 500, new one and will be getting the delivery of his new ride in June.

Servicing was done at KTM Begumpet showroom but then it was done by some SBK mechanic, apparently their trusted one in his hometown, which isn't Hyd.
                        Asking price is 2.3L(negotiable).

Baby Ninja has always been my love and demi-god but pockets ain't deep enough for maintenance an servicing. Plus the spares cost feel like Nuke to me (read here in XBHP that buying is a one time affair - manageable, its the servicing one should take care of).

Is the price ok and should I proceed with the necessary approval from Dad and Phamily members?

Sorry if this post isn't relevant here.
                        Regards,

Too steep...bargain with him. Should be below 2.

2.3L is a quite expensive for a second hand even though its a N250. Bargain for a sub 2L price. I don't see a point in putting in more than 2 L for a second hand 250 considering the high maintenance cost that the bike has. Even though the seller may convince you that everything is fine, you may run into some issues and might need to change some parts(which are quite expensive) soon. So go for a sub 2 L figure.
