Im more active on the MotoGP thread than anywhere else. So that's where also this came from.
As far as selling is concerned, I came in doubt when the Duke 390 came and was almost on the verge of doing it. But in a week or so when I started searching for accessories, I found abundance of after market parts for this Ninja. That was enough to change my decision
Sure @vinbex. Here you go. Pics were taken from phone so some might not be good enough. The Inception - https://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/...inception.html

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
Thanks...Yeah true. I searched a lot for all the accessories. Money and quality were on top of my considerations cos I had messed up earlier with some stuff. So thought of paying extra if required without compromising fit/finish.Originally posted by vinbex View Post@ R-series... thanx alot mate... awesome job here.. handpicked I must say!

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
Any knows how much the OEM air filter costs? I will procure it from the service center - hope they have it
Planning to service the bike at home this time, need to plan the budget as well

Back from a Mumbai-Bangalore trip. She did 120-130 for hours on a stretch without any complaints.
Only niggle was a fairing vibe that got a bit prominent.
These days there is a slight 'tappet' noise coming out as well - when she is warming up. Need to take her to svc to get that rectified.Hakuna Matata

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
Ok, so I'm done with the service.
Here's a small background. I've been servicing all my previous bikes - EnergyFX, Karizma, R15 and I'm never shy to get my hands dirt for working on my bike. For the Ninja I thought of staying away from it cos it's an international model - I thought I'd mess it up. But my first 2 services at the service centre were not that good. No issues as such but few things like, air filter not cleaned/replaced a few other teaks not done and moreover 660Rs for labour. I recently felt my bike didn't breath properly so I cleaned the air filter on my own, but that didn't make much difference to the running. So I was sure, next service will be with my own hands
5 main things were done.
Oil filter changed
Air filter changed
Engine oil changed
Chain Lubricated
Bike cleaned - fairing cleaned from inside and
Air pressure checked, corrected
Working on the DIY with photographs
