Hello friends this is my first post in this site. So the question is that I have a karizma zmr and It has a head knocking sound and after so many days the complaint has set by the ASC guys. And now another problem is that my bike is jerking as if the petrol has over. I again took my bike to the showroom and I didn't found any solution. Please help me what happened to my bike ??? Please guys help me

Using nulon for 2 days now. Thanks [MENTION=28527]sibun[/MENTION] for guiding me just at the right time!
There's no sound and no burning smell. Infact, the engine is lot smoother than my friend's zmr which had run just 12k kms and mine 49k.
Hope this stabilises the piston issue for some time.

Bro following can be done in your condition (jerking) -
1. Get the fuel tank checked for water which might have gone in during water wash.
2. Get the fuel injector cleaned from the SVC.
3. Also check out the sparkplug (change it if needed) and air filter box if something is obstructing the air flow.

I am planing to cut the chain cover from back side; so that tyre does not touch....Is it ok to cut the cover...any side effect?

Need help to get rid off the spray paint from the engine

Hi guys,

Need help in getting rid off the spray paint on my Karizma's engine. The spray paint has lately resulted to evaporate and resulting in colorless smoke. I consulted two mechanics, they said that its the paint which is evaporating and there is no way out you can remove the paint, you'll have to wait for it to evaporate completely.

Any suggestions on this from experts here would be really appreciated.

Is it because you are running on wider tyres ?
If yes then why not get the half chain cover like the one in open chains.

Nail polish remover. Works great. Dip a cotton bud into it and rub on cold engine.

From what I've heard Nulon seems to give similar results like the Borric Acid treatment suggested by PSR sir a long time ago. It creates a coat over worn surfaces and ensures that they work properly.

And regarding oil, I used to be lazy and would pour in 1L of oil for the ZMA, the extra 100ml would be spit out of the crank case breather, in your case I assume that the burning smell is from the oil being sucked into the intake and burnt. No issues as long as you dont burst a seal. Once I filled around 1.3L accidentally from a 5L can, and to get the excess out, I cranked the motor with the oil window open, the extra oil was ejaculated and checked with the oil cap to make sure that the level was perfect.

The app sucks, no doubt. Still now there's no proper notification window.

Why? Just replace it with the one from Yamaha Enticer, costs around 50/-. Its lighter as well since its made from plastic.

Are you sure its paint? Cause normally if you paint using a low quality spray paint, it just chips away after a few spirited runs. Smoke usually comes when you've spilled a considerable quantity of oil on the exhaust bend pipe.

yes having a Wider Tyre 110..PSD..from last two years...

Already on open chain cover from a year...having baja pulsar cover...but the issue is dust and alternative week i need to get chain oiled....so planning to get the cover back...

Check the tire's alignment. I never had to cut/touch the chain guard for my tires. I have used a PSD and Zapper Q 110/90-18 for ~58000 kms combined.

Alignment is fine...even i run for a year with chain cover..but removed thereafter...now the main point why i want to get the the side cut...recently i was trying to put chain guard of myself ..upper part get bend from the tyre area...due to mine mistake....now chain is rubbing from inside...making sound.....either i need to buy a new upper part chain cover..or i can go for a side cut....

Getting it cut is equivalent to no chain guard in monsoons. With the chain guard ON itself, one heavy downpour and the sprockets get dirty (from the small opening near the sprockets), imagine what would happen if the gap is more for mud/water/dirt etc to enter.
