I didn't know tubed tyre can be used as tubeless. Can i use 110-90-18 tubed tyre as tubeless in my hunk? Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
I am not quoting that it can be used as Tubeless! From what i read and understood, the sidewall has to be strong! Compare the sidewalls of Tube Type and tubeless tires, you will understand!Originally posted by Krishna3450 View PostI didn't know tubed tyre can be used as tubeless. More than that! Your alloy has to be tubeless type as well. Which i dont think is the case! Or am I wrong? Because my Hunk isnt tubeless!
Use tubetype on tubetype alloys and vice versa! I just took a risk! The sirac street once came out of the wheel! Thankfully i was able to control the bike! This wont be the case always! I mean you able to control if tire comes out of the wheel.Splendor - 2k to 2006

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
My 1st query here.
I own a 2010 ZMR, I have done 49288kms as of today. A month back i did Bangalore to Satara ride and the bike performed beautifully. After that i got it serviced with a new well established mechanic. Now i have a peculiar problem. When i ride upto 100 or 150kms bike rides well, but after that the pickup on the bike reduces, and when i go on a gradient or fly over speed drops from 85kms to 78kms inspite of full throttle.
When i check with the Mechanic, they say it maybe problem with Bore and piston. Kindly need advice.
Also Kindly suggest any good mechanic for ZMR around Sanjaynagar, Bangalore.
Thanks in Advance.Raj

You have an air leak, which is why you're loosing oomph as the motorcycle gets hotter.Originally posted by BlackBeautyzmr View PostMy 1st query here.

Do a WD40 test to determine area of leak or just blindly change rubbers on both end FI unit.Motorcycling Experience:

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Guys. Some advice needed.
My bike was parked in a friend's place for 3 months with half tank fuel.
I took it today and tried starting and it didn't start. Battery was weak. So I swapped a new battery from another zmr but again the bike isn't starting. It makes some sound (not the regular crank) but now of some dry metal contact and misfire mixed type of sound. What could be the issue.
Bike is 68k old and I don't remember changing the spark plug anytime in the last 30k.Pegasus - 2011* - Hero Honda Karizma ZMR

get the bike transported to any near hero service center not to any local mechanic(few exceptions though ) coz its engine related work not any luck local mech can repair ...even if he does spares parts availability issue arises .

Once all is well your motorcycle would fire up.
If you're worried about the timing chain then open the inspection window and check, though I doubt that's the case;
