Novice Rider...Proud ZMR owner :-)

Friends....I have recently started to take my ZMR to office at andheri. Got to say, no matter I don't have a hayabusa, harley, ninja....and ride at a speed of 50 odd km\hr

but the attention a white ZMR gets on the road is simply wow

Only an avid biker will look at you if u have an international sportsbyk...but common people who are more in numbers and dont know much abt byks just drool at the ZMR...Hats Off ZMR!! U r a Common man's sportsbyk

Yeah thats true... On every ride people stare at ZMR with Ninja.. CBR royally ignored..... lets njoy this glory!!!!

Engine Oil Review

Friends,

Someone posted a clinical Review of all the Engine Oils for ZMR.
May be Siddharth or Above All or Mzee or Hiphop.

Though saved the URL now could not

find it.

Can anyone please help me and send the Post or URL again?

Gulf Pride 4T Plus 20W40
Motul 3000 4T Plus 20W40

Both are very good mineral oils which lasts upto 2000kms for fine.

Hey ZMR owner today i screwed up my Headlight Position , can somebody be kind enough & do post the reading by placing bike on center stand from a wall by 5 feet or 8 feet & measure the height of low beam on wall from ground & same of high beam . Please post the height guys .

Today got the 12 smd led for the number plate light & its just awesome .

Above picture is snapped at 4pm , just note the intensity of both rear brake light & that 12 smd led .

If you have the bottle of Shell advance AX7 10w40 (SS) & Gulf Pride 4T plus 20w40 (mineral) please add a photo .

Upto 130 sized tyre will be fine.

You can put 110,120 and 130 in your ZMR.Like this 110/90-18,120/80-18,130/70-18.These sized tyres are available also.

Pirelli SD 110/90-18
Sirac 120/80-18
Dunlop Monster 130/70-18 or 130/80-18,Forgot the exact size.

IMO stick to 110 max.

or Sirac 120

Guys, if your oil change's up and you're looking for a good engine oil then may I suggest the Yamalube SL SAE 20W-40 MA. In the past I've used, Indol 20W40, Hero Honda 10W30, Honda 20W40 Mineral, Gulf Pride 4T Plus, and among all of them I find the current one i.e Yamalube better than the rest. So if anyone interested then go for it, without a second thought. (If you want to know about its extended ride report, then keep and eye on the engine oil thread, as I'll be posting it in a couple of days.)

I think veryhiphop got the problem of oil leaking due to that yamaha oil , though i don't remember exactly which oil it is , he will answer the thing clearly .

Oil leak with mineral? It might be any FS oil.

Yes it may be semi or fully synthetic . Not sure
