Dear All,

Soon will be owning a Classic 500 DS.

Please shred some info on what comes with inclusive of the vehicle purchase and what are the additional accessories, just to cross check with my dealer.

Also I heard Angular Silencer is an additional option for Class 500 and I would like to get it for mine, the dealer quoted its around 3250/- INR. Can someone confirm whether its the same in other places (specially in Chennai ?). Also which getting this accessory, will the dealer also provide back my original silencer / exhaust system to me ?

Btw, I am purchasing from a Dealer in Erode.

yes the upswept silenser is around 3000-3500INR here in chennai.. You can get duplicates for around 2500INR inGP road..! And yea.. the dealer will give you back the old silenser back to you.

can anyone from Chennai help me with this. I saw this spoked wheel fitted on a CL500. I tried looking at all places, even Noor Automobiles near Koyambedu. But couldnt get hold of one. Can someone help me where I can find such wheels to fit one.

Has anyone used different engine oil your classic 500 other than the Liquid Gun being used in Service centers. Can you give some suggestions as I planning to give my bike for service outside as I am not happy with the SVC work.

Also , please suggest me some good and more importantly reliable mechanic who can look into a EFI engine.

Has anyone done a saddle attempt from Chennai to Bangalore. I am planning for December 25th. If you guys have done one, please let me know what I need to watch out for. I am taking the Chennai-Vellore-Krishnagiri-Hosur route (As I have some errrands to run in Hosur).

You inputs are most welcome.
