Well my bike has on going probs....

    1. Vibrations post 6K RPM - Bike is still under observation period for that! (800/1000Kms covered)
    2. Low Batt Indicator - RR unit awaiting replacement for the past 3 months.
    3. Front brakes fading
    4. Chain noise (not going even after alignment+proper cleaning washing)
    5. Low beam out of focus+loss of intensity for Hi+Lo beams
    6. Fairing vibrations
    7. Hard gearshifts
    8. Noise from front cone set or fork

    Happy Now!

Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

Yup... got my bike back... it feels as good as it was

Total bill came to around 5.2k.... out of which 3.2k was covered under insurance (all thanks to Bajaj Allianz people... they are the best when it comes to claims fulfillment. ), I had to bear the 2k amount, which is reasonable considering the P220 being costly when it comes to parts and fork alignments.

Gave bike to servicing directly ... getting a couple of things changed like....
            accelerator cable
            clutch cable
            chain cleaning
            solenoid change
            fuel gauge float change

^^ another 700-800rs ka kharcha... and the bike will be back to new

Get the Fuel filters checked.....does the bike jerks or shows uneasiness in crossing the 6-7k rpm band....?

130 is what a 220 should reach. Anything above that depends on too many variables. If you eliminate your bike from the list of variables, the other variables that affect it can be Ambient Temperature/humidity/traffic/road surface/Wind Factor/Fuel Quality/Crouched Position/Rider weight/Gear Shifts/etc etc.....and there are loads of variables for the bike too!

Don't worry if your bike is doing excess of 130 means its ok, there could be too many other things on a particular day affecting its top whack! Btw, wind is one of the factors that affects top whack greatly, try hitting ur topspeed around early morning. There is lesser wind early in the morning, but then the air is denser and hence more aerodynamic drag!

Not only does it look sweet, it costs a lot too!

                        • Chetan: Dude good to know you got your bike back man. Yes, BA is pretty good. They reimbursed me around 4k out of 5.5k when I had my first crash. Let's see what they say about the latest one.

My weight is 80 Kgs & I have been able to touch 135. But that too after crouching into a small ball or something. As Praful said & been told by many others, Top speed really depend upon many many variable. There is a Delhi xbhpian (will not name now but very much active young memeber) who is planning to buy a P220 very soon. He is just 65 kgs. He will be able to touch 135 sooner than me plus may be able to touch 140 even!

                          Depends on lot many things
                          Enjoy the ride guys, enjoy

As per my experience, if i redline the bike in 3rd ,4th and 5th, then only can i go past 130. Moreover the bike will cross 130 on an inclined road than on a plain road.
