^^^ My motul chain spray can is almost empty now ... and am very happy with it. Doesnot drip atall sticks very well.
I have tried almost all sprays from SAE 90 to the new dry spray at Pune but all have failed the spray ending up on mags test
except for Motul. So will stick with it.
Only drawback : lube lats max 800kms.
Also i have done 20K Kms now and the SC say my bikes chain can easily last for another 4-5K before change
Aprilia RS 125 or Honda CB400 Vtec ..... which one will it be ??? I think its gonna be NINJA ZX 6R :-)

Yes, have found a solution to this problemOriginally posted by chetanpulsar View PostNiranjan has found a resolve for this (for magwheel pe chain oil problem).... hope he gives some gyaan on this.
. Now my rear alloy shines like a mirror...err...polished aluminium
and stays that way. I will be publishing a photo tutorial for this soon.
ArmorAll...all the way. Beware of the Formula 1 fakes in the market. I have been using ArmorAll on my bikes for almost 3 months now and the way they bring out the gloss is amazing.Originally posted by Prongs View PostCan you guys recommend a good polish for my bike.....I recently got the Teflon thing done but now the bike attracts a lot of dust....the shine is gone and it seems the bike is old....i regularly wipe the dust off but it comes back and forms layers.....which I hate....
Maybe the teflon attracts dust.....
The other day, my 220 was subjected to plastering cement water by the un-friendly neighborhood uncle and all it took was a single wipe and wash treatment...the polish protects nicely too...
100 % RECOMMENDED PRODUCT.
@chilled_fire: Try to get the slim nozzle (as available on WD 40) for spraying the lube. On a conventional sprayer, a lot of lube gets wasted while applying it. With a fine nozzle, the spray required is minimal and that translates into better life of the bottle and wallet

Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

Check Fuel Filter and Fuel Pump. Beastrider had a similar complaint and the origin was traced to a jammed fuel pump and a clogged filter.Originally posted by Prongs View PostThnx a lot....I'll get ArmorAll tdy itself.....

The fuel filter can be checked by you but not the fuel pump. I recommend that you visit the PBK next time when you are intending to visit that place...maybe on a short rideOriginally posted by Prongs View PostMention it Nt.... so nyone has solution to ma problem.....

Just below the tank on left side front.... where the faring part ends.... you will see a while filter (to which 2 pipes connect... one from petrol tank... and on that goes to the fuel injector).... just check if the fuel filter is black in colour.... change the fuel filter regularly at every 2k kms..... or when you feel bike is not revving freely. I always keep 1 fuel filter under the seat area... and one in my backpack... donno when it will go bad.. and I might need a new oneOriginally posted by Prongs View PostBut hw to check the fuel filter....???
