  • ^^^ from what i read , there is nothing wrong with Your bike.
    Its Normal when-
    - the oil shows full level when ur bike is on center stand and cold.
    - the oil starts dissapearing as ur bike is started .
The oil disappears in to the entire engine up to the head and also the radiator it keep flowing throughout the engine so as to maintain the smooth functioning .
    Dont worry its normal.

BTW the oil leakage issue with 220 is only through head that to when you use Motul 300V. and its minimal .
Aprilia RS 125 or Honda CB400 Vtec ..... which one will it be ??? I think its gonna be NINJA ZX 6R :-)

      • hmmm.. i have been running my bike on motul 300v for around 2.5k kms now.. and i dont find it leaking from any part of the bike..

and in previous discussions.. i read that the bike should do 83 +- 1kmph in 5th gear at 6k rpm.. but mine's doing 86-87kmph at 6k rpm in 5th gear.. does this sound like a problem in my bike...??????

right now, im facing problems with the de-clutch switch.. the bike fails to crank when its in gear n when the clutch is fully off.. does anyone know where the de-clutch switch is located in the bike...???
        sigpic smokinnnn...!! :D

        • ^^On my bike too 300V din't leak for quite sometime. The leaks only started after I had run about 8K kms on the 300V, ofcourse after an oil change!

Ok, this is weird....your bike should'nt be doing more! Be happy if it is...
I have a feeling this could be more of a parallax error!

Get ur de-clutch switch changed asap!

                        • Well one quetion guys......does setting the rear suspension on hard cause it to wear down quickly.....????

The guy at the Pbk told me this thing "Bhaiya aap yeah setting neeche wali kar do, upar wali setting hum baad mein karenge jab shocker kamjor ho jayenge, abhi karoge to jaldi khatam ho jayenge"

It might be true.... but then whats the use of the small gas-cylinder?? It might be a general misconception also.

The pre-load levels are changed to make the shock-absorber stiff or soft, what the PBK mechanic thinks makes sense actually. If they become too soft... we can make them stiff by setting them to hard. But then they are gas filled.

Anybody has a better explanation... or a concrete theory on this.

Same with me when I was on soft setting.... after middle setting... I haven't got a chance to ride with a pillion. You could get it to medium setting... if putting it on hard worries you.

I have surely felt a lot of positive difference after shifting to the medium setting... handling has improved a lot.
