i think i read somewhere in xbhp that manufacturer keep hear ratios in such a manner that red-lining in the top hear ain't possible..
Btw i'd request more people to give out their each gear (9000rpm) speeds

yesterday i was at Pune FC PBK.

The best exp with any PBK SC so far...
Pros :
1. when u give your bike there they first test ride it and tell you what all are the problems. and then they ask u if anything else.
2. The engineer head there really knows well about 220 engine.
example i had gone there for balancer loading and he explained us(me and NV) exactly how tat stuff works when the engine was open.. and he was very happy to explain
3. the service guys ... Sagar, Ranjit also really know what they are doing, No thuk patti like other SCs i visited.
4. Very helpful.

Cons:
1.First in first out service , so if you rech late then u'll get ur bike late.
2. No generator backup, and if light goes u just have to wait.

Overall : I am very much satisfied with their service.

My bike know revs very smooth, only vibes are at 6K rpm which lasts till 6.3 and then again all ok.
Rear disc brake nosie now gone.
The engine head from where oil used to leak replaced and sealed, 200kms done since then and no leakage.
OVERALL :

@Ajinkya,Pushkar : AFAIK the RVMs are not changed under warranty.
Also Ajinkya , can u give us info as to how clear the vision is at high speeds ?



@ALL :Only one problem left on my bike now.
My bike is not able to touch the read line the acc maxes out at 115.Any idea why this is happening ?

My 220 has the same problem too... at 5th cant cross 9000rpm mark by any means, I guess it's cause of CDI

Not being able to redline might be more because the tuning might have been done in Pune which is at a higher altitude compared to Bombay. So bike might be running really lean!

This could be one among the many possible causes for your prob!

@Ajinkya: Really amazing that PBK has replaced mirrors under warranty! Coz I know 2 PBK's who have refused to do that!

Before anything else, when was the fuel/air filter replaced last?

fuel filter replaced some 2K ago and air filter 2 weeks ago.

Possibly it could be the Fuel Filter, but 2K is too early for it too go! And moreover I presume you are running Shell consistently!

Is the problem being replicated in the Roller Bench too>?

Do post your top speed figure bro. I did that dyno test and the bike touched 137 kmph. I told them to check the fuel filter but im not sure if they did it or changed it.
