The headlight unit comes as a single piece and costs approx 3800/-.

Since the twin bulbs run on 55W and the Apache runs on a 35W setup, the Apache would definitely require some extensive electrical modifications to support this. Moreover the 220 is running a DC setup as opposed AC on the Apache, that in itself will bring up another set of issues.

I would not advise you to go this route, instead get a HID spot lamp fitted!

I had a similar problem. The accelerationg wasn't smooth especially at low rpms.. The ProBiking guys changed the Timing Chain under warranty (there is 5 years warranty on the engine) and after that acceleration on the the bike has become smooth again.. in fact the throttle response has improved.

Can't say that the problem is similar here.. but you can get it confirmed. By the way my bike the distinction of belonging from the initial batch (2007 Oct) of P220.

The PBK guys in Chennai used to prod me to use some additive from Bardhal. Thankfully I never paid any heed to their advice!
some details about the NANO shit:
It's an engine oil additive imported by bagga link, new delhi.
                        Nano uses ceramic coating technique.
                        some features:
                        fuel savings upto 8-21%
6 times lowered noise and vibration levels.
                        100times reduction of friction coefficient.
brings engine power back to 100%
                        and bla bla bla....
                        A korean product
Website: Nano Energizer - nanoTec International

using a good engine oil is more than enough...These additives are no good to our bikes.

another additive manufactured in India is gaining popularity is NULON
                        NULON INDIA LTD.

I used it...although I dint find major differences I stopped using it but it's much better than this NANO product.

P.S.- Just use a good engine oil and keep your bike healthy
                        its all about CC...

                        • Got my bike on thursday evening! Its under observation for next 1K kms.

Rings have not been replaced as there is no stock! They have been cleaned and put back into position. If the bike still drinks a lot of oil, then the rings will be replaced post 1K kms.

The vibes post 6K rpm still persist in the engine...and the fairing vibes just add to the cacophony!
