Question
Hi All,
I am goin out of india nxt month , and looks like its long time as i have got an opportunity in Singapore
Now , i dont want to sell my 220 as i will be visiting mumbai atleast 3-4 times a year.
I will be giving my 150 to my cousin bro, but 220, i wanna pack it up and store safe
Now, i have an option to ask my cousin to just ride the 220 for atleast 3-4 kms every weekend so that the bike is maintained.
Or I can wrap/pack it up and keep it in garage, but in 220 i cant remove all petrol - if i have to start her again i will have to take to PBK
So can u guys suggest me some ideas ?Aprilia RS 125 or Honda CB400 Vtec ..... which one will it be ??? I think its gonna be NINJA ZX 6R :-)

Well...you cant keep on draining all the fuel everytime you are here...better would be to pass on your bike to your cousin and ask him to ride it every week. Since the bike is an Fi, you will need to maintain the 2.5 litres of fuel all the time.Originally posted by chilled_fire View Post^^^ Thank you sir !
How bout suggestion guys ?

if u want to empty the fuel tank entirely, it is possible even at home
all you need to do is ride out n burn/wast/utilize as much fuel as you can
after that follow these simple steps
.open/detach the the fuel pipe connecting tank n FF
.now u'll be seeing the open end of the metal fuel pipe attached from tank
.now just put the key to on position and prime/run the fuel pump by doing the ignition switch on and off, by this the pump'll through all the remaining fuel out
.when you get back to "SWADESH"
all you need to do is pour petrol in and off you go
i hope noting is lost in translation here
note:since FP delivers very lil fuel each time itz been primed/run, you 'll need to prim/run pump again n' again to extract all the juice

@Chilled: Niranjan's suggestion is the best IMO. If you feel you don't want anyone to ride the bike too much, I'd suggest that you tell someone to ride the bike for 2-3kms once a month. That should be good enough to keep the internals going.Originally posted by niranjanvaidya View PostWell...you cant keep on draining all the fuel everytime you are here...better would be to pass on your bike to your cousin and ask him to ride it every week. For the exteriors, I think you should something from keeping the metal parts from rusting off. You could spray WD-40 on the metal stuff once in 2-3 months for keeping it from rusting._________________________

I'm having a P200...its been around 25k Kms....time to change my sprockets!! So, If I go for P220 sprockets ...is there any gain/any loss when we compare with P200 sprockets? Is it suitable for another 25000 kms??
I know it was mentioned before here...but I'm not able to find it.
please help me in this situation!!
Also, will the rear sprocket be changed or the front as well?its all about CC...

The new chain sprocket set comes with front, rear sprockets and a chain. So all these will be replaced.Originally posted by rohitmundra View PostI'm having a P200...its been around 25k Kms....time to change my sprockets!! If you change over to the 220's 37T rear, the bike will be a bit more relaxed. There would be a minor drop in acceleration and a minor increase in top end.
xBhpian Silver Falcon (Silver P200) is running the 37T rear sprocket of the 220 on his bike for quite some time now. You could some finer details from him!_________________________
