  • Along with wear and tear, the rubber compound in tyres also harden with age.. which results in loss of road grip (even if visible wear and tear isn't there).

therefore a fresh set is advisable whenever going for a tyre change.. it will naturally result in better overall road grip and control

My Vehicle is only 13months old.
      13476km on the Odo.
I'm changing the Rear tire as it may not be able to handle a full major ride of 2-3k Kms.
It still has good tread for dry & wet conditions.
However My next major ride is due in 2 months.
By then the tread may not be the best for a Monsoon - Wet Ride as I'll do another 1000-1500 kms by then.

So planning my options in advance.

      • Done 2nd paid servicing. The bike is very smooth now.Fairing vibes are also gone.

But check this one, crashed against a Sumo.It was driven into it. Owner was not much injured as he was helmeted.

                    • OMG!! dont believe this. Did you guys see the impact on the front fork & tank??? OMG how did the rider manages to escape unhurt!!!?? I think this is beyond repair. Even if the whole bike is re-done, there would still be issues

Ok. So it has been 4 days for the new tyre. I must say handling has improved a lot. The feeling of slippy-ness is next to none. My front tyre is still the stock one.

Washing the disc & pad with soap solution is more practical as petrol I guess would be harmful to the pads. If anyone can open the disc assembly then its the best as he can rub the pads with sand paper. This is what the PBK guys also do.

There is a problem with my bike. It seems like its consuming oil. But there is no indication appearing. been to PBK. they need 3-4 hrs to fix it. So most prob will be hitting PBK next week only. For being on safer side, I have changes the oil & requested them to put extra.

Hey RX, now that you have given a positive review of this tyre, do give the address of dealer. I am gonna be changing my bike's tyres in the next 1 or 2k km.
