Thanks! Its partly because quite a few painted parts were replaced recently.Originally posted by a.jayamohan View PostYou are maintaining the bike very well..looks new
congrats!
Paid services are important from a warranty point-of-view! The company can say your warranty is null and void if they see that you have not maintained the recommended service schedule.Originally posted by Sak8 View Post
now should i give it to service again?
or to leave this service??
Lol buddy, no one is a senior or a junior here. We are all biking brothers!Originally posted by yuv_biKING View PostWelcome back Senior...

New to Bangalore
Hey guys
I've come to Bangalore for the first time and having my Job here. My bike will be reaching here this Monday and it might be requiring service here cause I've not driven it since long.So people from Bangalore and around can please guide me where to get the service done and if there is any service center other than Bajaj Pro-biking doing a better job. I'm staying near Sarjapur area, 2 KM from Total Mall. Thanks all

^^ Same question for me too! And also it would be better if someone can throw some light on the RTO that falls under Koramangala 6th Block area for Entry Tax payment. Some info on the paperworks to be done is appreciated. Bike is TN registered.
Dude, how are you planning to pay the necessary tax? (Assuming yours is an outside registered vehicle)
OT: Where have you joined?
Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

It's Auto Service, Banashankari 2nd Stage. One of the best, if not the best PBK Centers in India (reputedly). Do a search in that thread.

I've got the police verification done and got a clearance certificate (not to be confused with NOC) So I'll be continuing my Chandigarh Number and will only need to pay the road tax for Karnataka. I've joined in WIPRO currently in Bomanhalli office and having a residence in Sarjapur area (Kaikondrahalli) and planning to shift to BTM.Originally posted by abhijeet080808 View Post^^ Same question for me too! Thanks for the info dear but searching in a thread with 660 pages could mean a very good search questionOriginally posted by maraque View PostThis has been discussed oft' times in the P220 DTSI thread.

the main rto of Bangalore is in kormangala ...its in bda complex kormangala ...take the first left after st johns hospital ..(when coming from forum mall, big bazar)...jus after few mts its towards the right there is a college (vemana institute of technology) behind that is the bda complex in wich the rto is located...i guess 99% 6th block will come under that ..u can go clarify and ask them abt the paper works and stuffOriginally posted by abhijeet080808 View Post^^ Same question for me too! I've been riding a TN bike here in Bangalore for about 1.5 years now. I've not paid any entry tax and neither you have too.Originally posted by abhijeet080808 View Post^^ Same question for me too! Are you planning on staying here long term or selling the bike here? If you staying only but will go back in a few years to TN then just pay the Life Time Road Tax, that is enough to ply on KA roads. Nothing else is needed.
If you intend on selling the bike here, you need to get an NOC from your home RTO. Then pay life time road tax, apply for re-registration and also after payment of LTT here, you need to apply for refund of LTT from you home RTO!

Ok, thanks for the confirmation. I will then pay the road tax only. I plan to keep it for a year or 2 at the max. I guess it will be better for me to sell it back in TN! Hosur should not be too far!Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostI've been riding a TN bike here in Bangalore for about 1.5 years now. I've not paid any entry tax and neither you have too.

And is PUC mandatory in KA? (Was never asked for in chennai!) You may reply by PM if you want to. Thanks once again.Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

Hey guys, how frequent do you people clean the injector and how do u keep it clean? I happened to change the fuel filter. I opened the old filter and it looked all brown with dirt, like a thin layer of rust. So ant the details. And if u do clean it, what procedure do u use? The Ramkay guys use pressurized air. Is that good or anything else needs t be done?Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Liberty is when the sheep has a gun.

in order to keep the same registration number and pay the road tax i need a police clearance certificate so that i can drive easily here. you are have a TN number so it won't matter much but mine is chandigarh number so can be easily noticed . Moreover i don't have long term plans in bangalore and will be shifting back in a year or 2 at max.Originally posted by prafultripathy View Post
Police verification and clearance certificate for what?
Can you suggest me any place here where i can get some engine and body modifications of my bike. I've heard that here in bangalore people have set up business for modification. Nothing much was there in chandigarh.
thanks
