God Graced you that the elbow was not injured.
Some of the pictures you have posted might distract some poor heart persons. Better to remove them.

@abhichotu.abhi bro, i posted those pics cause all the fellow riders should know what sort of damage an innocent looking STARTER BUTTON can do
, and not to distract anyone

Hi All,
I recently got registered with this forum even though I used to read your posts as and when I used to get time. I have clocked almost 20K kms on my pulsar 220 FI.
I came to know that Bajaj has introduced a new engine oil with advanced technology. They claim that one dosen't have to change the engine oil for next 10,000 kms so it should be a synthetic oil.
Well, the most interesting part is it comes @ a great price of Rs.350 per litre!
Did any of you guys use this? If yes, please let me know how good it is and the variations observed when compared to the normal engine oills..
Thanks,
Wizard

yes we did hear about it. nothing sure though. only selective service centre's have that oil. the oil may lack early ageing qualities, but i definitely prefer changing the oil once every 2 thousand kms.Originally posted by Wizard View PostHi All,

Planning a K2K ride next month.
Please let me know what is the Best Front tire which can handle Khardung la - Manali off road sector as well as the Manali - Kanyakumari Tarmac sector.
Also going for a different tire set up for these 2 conditions (change of tire in Manali) will be better.
I'm Currently Using a FZ front tire 100/80 17 changed 5000km ago.Last edited by Prabhakar; 05-30-2010, 09:01 AM.sigpic

I'm worried about the off road capabilities of the FZ Front.Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostThe FZ tyre should be good enough IMO. Else you can use the IRC Wildflare 90/90, its really good in wet. What is the rear tyre you are using?
I'm Using the Sirac Without Tube.sigpic

Do you plan on riding your bike like a motocross rider?Originally posted by Prabhakar View PostI'm worried about the off road capabilities of the FZ Front.

You can try button type tyres if you want!
Not possible, if you are doing 83Kmph @ 6K rpm in 5th gear.... then you are still using the 220 Fi sprocket.Originally posted by Durvesh View Posthey guys i changed my bike chain sproket. i have p220dts fi, but i changed Dtsi sproket 36teeth no difference in speed like in 5gear on 4000rpm bike dose 57kmph, 6000rpm bike does 83kmph. is there Co setting matters for this speed because Pbk service center Co% machine not working.

CO cannot alter gearing of the bike.
Only with change in gearing you will see a change in Speed Vs. RPM readings. Without altering the gearing the Speed/RPM readings will remain the same.
Have you also changed your rear tyre?_________________________
