but tell me more about the last two pics.. the fans..

and also about those rtr grabrails. direct fit?

ya the RTR grabs are direct fit . . . .

FANS . . . . , i have fixed 2 fans , one is at the back side of the cooler ( the air flow will be towards the HEAD ), and the another under the tank . . .which is controllable by a manual switch ..

during hot weather city ride , engine heats up very quick and the petrol tank do heats up , this fan helps in disposing the heat , now the petrol tank never heats up and also engine cools down quickly when the engine is off . . .

this also helps during touring - when you stop your bike for resting . . .

            • @yash3: Those fans are just psychological, they won't really help in reducing operating temperature.

EDIT: My bike got its second Sirac this weekend. The earlier one lasted 15K kms. And the odo went beyond 55555 kms, sadly could not click the moment as my camera phone when kaput!

I got my first Sirac last weekend... what is the tyre pressure you have kept for you sirac... dealer recommended pressure were 35 psi.

Need to change the front tyre too... any recommendations for that...

Stick to 30-32 psi. I used 30 all throughout for my first tyre.

Front Tyre- R15 Front Tyre, IRC Wild Flare,

Good going brother .. I am 10K behind you
BTW, yes you can maintain the psi what bajaj recommends. It hardly changes with tyre spec..
Dont you feel the R15 front tyre will induce some speedo error, unlike the IRC, which will make it more accurate?

Be happy its 10K, I've hardly done 4K kms in the past 5 months where I should have actually clocked 10K.

Since its a TT tyre that is being used as TL, I prefer keeping it 1-2 psi higher than stock ratings.

R15 front will make the front tyre more optimistic , will show a higher than usual speedo/odo reading.

Already my speedometer shows 91-92 KMph @ 6k RPM in 5th gear after getting the sirac for rear, with the stock tyres it were 83-84 KMph...
I wonder what wud be difference in speed if i change my front tyres to IRC

Yep, I was expecting it to be much more .. Even I haven't done anything after Chennai - Pondy

Okay.. Better, if the grip level is still good.. BTW, got Sirac here this time right? For how much? Sai Iyengar??

You still have the IRC up front? Guess its < 15K..
