Then, it is time for you to take the matter to next level. Just mail to all the addresses you get and describe the problem and how the ASS people are not able to rectify the problem even after repeated visits.

        Try the following numbers

Honda Aviator || Kinetic Flyte || Kinetic Blaze || HH Splendor

                      • my ride has run nearly 1400 kms and is completing a month since Date of Sale tomorrow. It's really REALLY smooth up to 5K rpms, and have begun ripping her real bad at least once daily .

But argh.... frustrating vibration noise, however slight, from front fairing (near the area where it touches the speedo/tacho console) at all rpms.

Another noise, mostly after high speed runs.
A periodic squeaking noise from the front end. Seems to be from either the shocks or the front disc, sounds as if some thing is scraping against the pads. Disc and pads seem ok on visual inspection. Still have to rule out the possibilities of it coming from shocks. Doesn't come after i bring the bike to standstill to inspect the problem area. I'm worried about this noise.

SC guys say they don't have time as of now, make do with it till 2nd service, when they'll check and fix it for free. Darn.

                        • Blade7,

Knocking could also be due to an over advanced ignition timing or a spark plug with it's gap set too close. A dirty carb/worn out jets/wrong float level all leading to a lean condition also could be the culprit. So, before opening the engine, these things are worth checking. Since, you mentioned it happens on a hot engine, I guess it has more to do with the ignition than anything else.

                          Cheers,
                          Jay

A routing inspection and lubing the push-cable has solved the problem. The throttle action is smooth. Took the opportunity to get the freeplay adjusted to my liking as well

@raghav : Try tightening the visor screws etc yourself man. Might help.

@KP : Can i take her upto 5k revs since the first service is done with..?

                            • My zma has clocked in excess of 1100 kms and it's time to go beyond 5k rpm. Things I noticed from my previous zma

1> my old zma was doing 60kmph at exactly 3500 rpm, whereas the new zma requires another 300 rpm more. but both the zma's will do 80 at 5k rpm. As Jayprashanth pointed out, it may be CDI issue or tacho not working properly.

2> The crappy plastics are the same. Already a screw has conked off from the left fairing.
3> Engine smoothness is almost same. The hardness in gearshift has somewhat eased now. Earlier, I used to get false neutrals

4> My previous zma used to take ages to cross 120kmph whereas the newone does the same in relatively less time. (I seriously doubt the speedo since I have become heavier than I was while riding my previous zma )

5> The chain gets loosened every 5-10 days. Had to get it fixed.

Last time, vaas2000 helped me to get visionplus bulb for my zma. planning to get osram nightbreaker this time.

Lat time, me and vasanth bought zma disc pads for 770 bucks. It's still there with me and will use once the current disc pad wores out.

Overall, I am ok with the service at sai motors. Time to go out for a long ride..................

                              Cheers,

                              Krishna

aaraam se... don't rip... take her up the revvs step by step. Would be useful to do that in 3,4 & 5th gears and not just in 5th. See, your run in is not over with reaching 1000 KMs or doing the first service...

May be this has to do with the 10W30 oil too... what do you say?
