The downside of using thicker oil is sluggish pickup, lower FE, and lower Top speed....this if you exceed W40 and use w50 grade....a w30 will improve acceleration,and FE marginally,but engine will run hot,and will be rough..and the oil will become dark in just 500Kms.

Tried to adjust/reduce free play. First i increased it so much that bike would creep with clutch pressed. It was a good learning experience. Slowly i shall be able to DIY that don't result in damages. This was my 2nd DIY after fitting the buzzer (which was again not a perfect job since the sound is too low).

Nly 5069 kms on the odo...not riding these days daily commute is only of 20kms to office and back.yet to complete the 3rs service..the bikeis running on gulf 4t + 20w40.with lots of cold starts in the mrng.and the suspension r yet to be replaced under warranty..Originally posted by shubhamAT View PostCongrats. The bike rear suspension dont work when i take a pillion on the bike.it just makes irritating noises and doesnt work and when i hit any bad roads or pot holes it just to soft.i hav changed the settings but no use.i hav also replaced the bushes which wer attaced to the suspension on the swingarm.as they wer completed worn out as the suspension was not working.still waiting frm 26th dec as the svc has order frm head offfice as they didnt had dem in stock.Originally posted by Vishakh View Postwhat is the problem with your bike's suspension?

09 months ... 8K Km
Finally i have done 8000 km in odometer in 09 months ... still 2 service from HH is pending ...
Gone for a solo ride to Saputara ... ( 550 km round trip ) ... i reached 8K km on this ride only.
reviews shortly be there on xbhp ...
...
Note :- time n trip readings are wrong .. only total is correct ... idk wht had happened ... every time i remove my keys from my bike ... the time n trip got reset .. only total is saved .... ne suggestions ... ???Solo Rider

does this only happen when you remove the key or does it also happen when your try to start your bike as well.. This could be an issue with your battery ... Check the connection terminals of your battery, if they are okay, get the battery recharged.You start the game with a full pot o' luck and an empty pot o' experience... The object is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck.
