        Hey buddy I am from Rajkot too. Where you live? which area? You know road from Rajkot to Dhoraji has lots cross winds.. Myself not running even 60km per hour on this kinda winds.. How you tried that road? Which bike you own?

          I am living in Junction Plot area. Yes that Gondal Highway is too windy . Tried that road about 1 n half years back.
          I am having ZMA.

              • Change to Sirac street

                Finally after a long hunt and running the M45 for 23600kms, it was time to change the rear tyre. M45 is not available anymore so I settled down for Sirac Street 100/90/18.

                Initial review of the tyre says, bike has become nimble & easily flickable but is that my mind only or dont know. Currently running in the tyre so cant comment much on the exact grip & cornering, will update after couple of kms.

                • ^^ I would eagarly wait for your reviews on Sirac Street from ZMA point of view. I'm already running Sirac Street on my RXs and they show slightly slim profile even though I run on 3.00 than stock 2.75.

                  My observation on Sirac Street from RX is better road grip on sudden brakes compared to previous MRF. To an extent better grip on non-tarmac and thanks to Metro Rail project in our city. Frankly not tried real off-roading as such. Cornering ability present due to it's rounded profile but I've not tried much to proclaim.

                    Hey Sri, The newer Sirac Street are manufactured by TVS for Michelin(because of the Mandatory ISI mark lafda). so guess you might get the idea as to how it might be. have tried the Sirac Street on my friend's Zma. To be very frank,its nowhere even close to what Michelin tyres used to be. The wearing pattern need to be observed now. you can make out the quality of the newer Sirac Street by just looking at it.

                        Mild heart attack after reading your post. However, as such have not faced issues so survived the jolt.

                        • Again the same old problem of rpm restriction.

                          With 29.1k kms on the ODO, I'm getting the problem again after some 13k kms...fault? WTF just a high speed ride, then a break of 20 mins, again a high speed ride...slowed down, opened the throttle and its back there....rpm not going beyond 4-5k rpm!

                            I would think you are facing the carb slide stuck issue. Kehin Zindabad!

                            Ok. I've experienced the similar issue during my trips and have managed to live with it. For me, RPM won't move beyond 5k.

                            When you happen to face this issue, try tapping the side of the carb bowl/body with screwdriver backside or something like, say couple of times. Then try rev the engine and so that it that releases the slide and rpm jumps beyond.

                            Don't worry too much on this. I'd called the doctor times during my trip when faced this issue. Now, prescription to address the issue learned and practiced.

                            OT:-However, during my trips, it only happens during the onward jouney and never faced similar issue during the return leg.

                              i think its not true and just a rumor.

                              "Michelin SIRAC Street and PILOT Sporty tyres are made in India. They are MICHELIN tyres. They are engineered by MI. They are designed by MI and last but not least they are tested for quality by MI. Globally wherever a Michelin tyre is made, it needs to conform to the same specifications of a MICHELIN tyre otherwise it is rejected and not brought to the market. Therfore a Made in Thailand tyre = Made in France tyre = Made in France tyre.

                              The "Made in India" Michelin tyres are adapted for Indian market. The earlier tyres sold were designed for South East Asian market where the mileage expectation was 10k-15k whereas the mileage expectation in the Indian market is 25k-30k. The new tyre is a good balance of the mileage and grip. Therefore it is normal for everyone to feel that these tyres are different from earlier tyres. They still offer good grip levels and that is for everyone to check out."

                                Kindly observe the contrasting statemet that Mr.Gaurav has stated himself for the answer

                                So Made in Thailand tyre = Made in France tyre = Made in France tyre # Made in India Tyre. So quality is bound to differ.

                                On a serious note, i really dont trust this guy, Gaurav anymore. Have written numerous mails to him and Michelin directly, no news from anywhere.

                                One more thing , have you used the older Sirac/street/M45 and newer Sirac street???? The newer ones are harder compound for durability. When you take the newer ones on the wet , its a different ball game. The M45 has become difficult to find than the Dodo. Had enquired places as far as Delhi,Jaipur,Kolkata to get the older M45, but surprisingly got it in bangalore itself There is one more tyre left (that I know of, but the dealer is quoting a bomb, 4.5-4.7K)
