Hi Ryan,

Immediately check whether the battery in the bike is yours or not. The SVC people must have replaced it with an old one to make a quick buck.

A healthy battery should easily last for 2-3 years with normal use.

Another question, is that my battery seems to have become weak. I am not able to button start after the bike has been parked for 2-3 hours.

And am surprised this has happened immediately after the 3rd free service, did they skip checking the battery ?

First check for bad battery contact,like deposits on the terminal,and battery contacts not tightened properly..
Otherwise like LOKZMA said check if the SVC had switched your battery..always write down ON THE BATTERY your bike no ...and also on the TIRES have some small marking to recognize if any switch is made...

I had never tested since i am not interested in it..All I know is that ZMA can be redlined in all gears,except the fifth.ZMA is a relaxed tourer capable of continuous 110 Kmph on highway without feeling strained.

yes it's a refined Bike...ride it non-stop at 100 & feel the awesome experience.

The Brake Fluids are available in various colours like Brake Fluid DOT 3 is available in clear, Pale Yellow, Blue & Crimson Red colour, similarly brake fluid DOT 4 is available in Clear, Pale Yellow & Crimson Red colour, brake fluid DOT 5.1 is available Clear, Pale Yellow & Blue colour. Brake Fluid DOT 5 is available in Purple & Violet colour so colour is not a criteria to distinguish between the different types of brake fluids. The color is added in brake fluid to detect the leakage easily and color does not effect the quality of brake fluid.

Found something else interesting.

DOT 3:can be mixed with DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 without damage the system. This brake fluid absorbs moisture from the atmosphere thus reduces its boiling point (ERBP). It can also damage the paint on a vehicle.

Hmm I asked as the owners manual says not to exceed speed limits for each gear during the running-in period,

I don't think so.Why would they change something better than what they give? ZMA was never bettered than first lot.

ok. So will flush the old one completely and get DOT 4 in few days. BTW, as i asked yesterday, what would be the price of front mudguard.

Forgot to mention, i got a new Osram night breaker. My friiend bought a set, he will use one for his CBR and i have taken the other one. Is it a direct fit on ZMA, or do we nned to add a relay or something? Waiting for replys from the ZMA gurus

I'm running on Philips Xtreme direct fit for last 8+ months and have not done any mods such as relay however, got 9ah battery and it caters electrical requirement I thought.

Mines clear from factory.
Dont know for sure, since the colour codes are same for both DOT3 and DOT4, anyways my ZMA with bikerharis now, will post pics when I get it back.
