You have a much greater problem...Your brake oil level is almost zero, and soon you will have air entering the system and have front brake failure.

Of course it is a direct fit but using a relay will improve the light throw considerably.. Try it out and I promise that you won't regret it!

Sir, does the brake fluid rapidly deteriorate after a long ride(330Kms)???
In a way me too was abit shocked, Cause a few days back when me and Aneesh checked it it was almost full, and I dont know whether this is relevant, but the bike was on main stand when I snapped the pic.

Yeah, straight. Took it just before locking up the bike for the day.

Adding to it, night breaker is 55W. So would a relay alone work or should i also change the battery to 9ah. or does it also require coil rewinding?

                  • Osram DELLA 55/60. Came as replacements with my Zen.

                    Edit.
ZMA owner have gone uptill 90/100 on the stock setup, though there was a price to pay for that.

                      • Any regular 55/60 would do, if you want to kick it up a few notches then better go for HID's.

                        • I had a doubt about the speedometer top speed and always thought that the needle just can't go beyond 140 kph. But believe it or not, my bike did a shade above 140 (142 kph) on the speedo a few days back while having a fast ride with a Merc.
Also, I noted 140 kph comes at 9k rpm! Further as far as I know, 5th gear being tall enough, it is very difficult in Karizma to cross 8.25 k rpm in 5th gear.

This post is not intended to promote rash/reckless driving in any way.

When you see brake oil below half mark level in window, check your brake pad wear..if it is near it's end then it is ok.
Always ensure full level of oil till top of brake master Reservoir, with new pads.
The level you have now is dangerous and before you ride ,check brake pad wear, and top up oil to 3/4 th level with DOT 4..The existing oil also looks yellowish..better to replace with new oil.

In Karizma the top gear ratio is 0.8 , and to calculate true speed in top gear, for every 1,000 RPM, the speed is 15 Kmph..ie., if you do 3,000 RPM then the true speed is 3,000 X 15 divided by 1,000 which is 45 Kmph.
Even modified ZMA cannot reach RPM limiter on top gear...and like you said let us not turn this thread into Max speed contest.

Once in a while let it rip, the rest of the time ride sane. Else you'll be needing an early drive chain replacement. And it was pretty smart of you to add the last line.
