    1. Air loss
My R15 had worn out tyres earlier. Air used to leak from the rear tyre (6 punctures fixed in 3 years), but never from the front.
Before replacing the tyres, there was a minor rim bend, then I got the rim repaired.
Got the rim painted-valve pins were removed then.
    Got new tyres fitted.
Now there is leakage from both tyres (Nitrogen)@1 psi per day.
The valves are fine&no chance of minor punctures as the tyres are new.
I find the beading to be seated properly on the rim edges as well.
I am puzzled by this-what do you guys think?

    2. Handle problem
My bike's handle has become a bit heavy, and when left, the bike pulls sharply to the right. No falls, but more or less the whole bike was dismantled last month.
Earlier I used to feel the handling is not upto the mark, but now it is really gone. Coneset has never been greased.
    Fork oil seals both fine.
    Suggestions please.
hey bro, for the tyre prob, please do as stefanm told.. and for the handling prob, in addition to what stefanm told, i think its time to grease the coneset. that should solve the prob. it also happens due to less air pressure in tyre.. do check out how the bike handles once the tyre prob is fixed and go ahead with the coneset greasing if the prob still persists..
A crash on d road may kill d biker n d bike, but d relationship btwn d bike n d biker never dies.

Its only next to d relationship btwn d mother n her baby.

thats true, try greasing the coneset as the grease must have dried off.

          +1.

Been there and done that! Paint was flaking from the inner side of the rim!

Yes, just need to get the coneset loosened. Nothing else.

Are you done with your first service ? if no dont cross 5000 rpm.

For wrist and back pain, Check your seating position as that can be the reason or you may be sitting too stiff on the R15.

For R15 forget the climate just warm the bike for 5-10 secs and that's it.

                  Thanks for the inputs bros.
In my case, this has started after the rims were repainted. So should I get it rubbed with sandpaper at the painter's or tyre shop?
About the handle, it is pulling sharply to the right, but my mechanic says it is a minor thing that he can handle easily.
Coneset greasing is long overdue. I feel I might need to get it changed this time!

                  • ^^ I took 2 sheets of sandpaper to a MRF showroom and asked them to do it.

Greasing is always a good thing!

Understood. Hope this will solve the problem for good!
Its really frustrating to ride the bike with new tyres but dropping air pressure!

                      • @sarvajit - you normally come to know when you are loosing air as the handling becomes a bit stiff and rear is like pulling up too much.

                        Do you feel similarly ?

Yes, the day the air is filled the bike feels great, but as per my checking daily loss is 1-2psi.
To add to this, the handle is also pulling to the right so the bike is not behaving properly afa handling is concerned.
Need to get these solved though they are minor the handling is affected.

Neverthless, this bike handles&corners like a dream-I cannot be this confident even if I have a Ninja-it will never be this easy to throw around in city traffic.

Did you check the cone set, the T fork and the front shocks oil ?

My first servicing is due on next week. So I'm gonna replace oil, oil filter and general servicing. Is there any other special thing I have to ask the service persons?
