Bought this Yamaha r15 v2.0 sparky green on march 31. The matte finish grey is simply awesome and quality is top notch. competed 1050 kms so far.

Is it? Can we get the stock tyre then? Could you please pm me the details of the shop. Please. People are dying here for that stock 100/80-17 rear tyre.

Also any tyre suggestions for Leh-Ladakh terrains??

Hey Man, good you still have the R15...WhatsApp me on my number. I will try at Punjagutta.
For Ladakh, Ceat Vertigo button tyre in stock V1 size is the most preferred one.

Plain NO, Initially the wrists were the ones paining, but once you get used to, things are fine.

Just to let you know I am 5'11" - clocked 108600kms on my R15 and still going strong. Done Lahaul & Spiti Twice and ventured in Himalayas a lot.

Guys, how are your bikes performing with age? Ive got an 09 R15 with 90k kms and the bike has lost its refinement and has become quite noisy even after an oil change. The mileage also has dropped.
Bike has been running on 300V except on one oil change. Any suggestions on what can be done ? Thanks

Did you get the clutch bell and plates change ever. Get the tappets adjusted, injectors clean. Even though mine is not running much these days but at approx 110000 kms she still touches 130kmph easily. Also please make sure the chain is lubed properly. I hope you havent done any mods in it.

Kindly elaborate more on downshifting issue.
