              • Here is the update of my bike:
                1)Forks had some balancing/tuning problem.
--- Not only the forks but the left handle also bent. I had to replace it.
2)The rear sprocket was making some other noise. The mech said that there are some rubber pieces attached there (donno what they are called), which has to be replaced.
                --- Damper Rubbers replaced.
3)The rear shock was making a lot of noise. It is supposed to be lubed. The mech said its due to riding in excessive rain. WTH!
--- This was the worst one. After completing the job we found that the sound was still there. They kept on shaking the rear shock trying to understand where the sound came from. Also the whole rear assembly was taken out. Later the problem was found and it was in the link of the mono suspension (the part which connects to the swing arm). It was lubed properly and the problem was fixed.

One thing is for sure the its really a delicate bike. It has to be treated like a baby and you just cannot afford to rough use it. Even Sarvajit was with me yesterday. His bike's LED had issues and now its confirmed that one of them needs replacement. It costs Rs. 500. I guess the Yamaha has to take a look at their QA Team again.

                          • Today, the worst day of my life....

I had my worst day today morning with my bike R15, (1.7K kms)
When i m about to start my bike from the signal @ MGRoad (near Central), the bike is not starting. Lights came n went... I was stuck in that traffic, luckily on the right corner... After some push n pulls, it got started and i managed to reach nearby SS (Panache). Actually, it was loose connection from battery.
Pacers forgot to tighten the screw from battery

I had my First Service at Pacer Motors, Infantry Road.
This shows the care they are taking while servicing. Earlier, i had a weird sound coming from the front panel and near rear tyre.
I got it rectified from Panache Motors, Old Madras Road.
The customer rapport from Panache was so good and excellent.

petrol harms the o-ring seals in the chain. use kerosine. else a degreaser spray.

u guys pls have a look at the led Yamaha sold as an accessory and then speak. yes, it is a bit overpriced at Rs 500 a pair but not heavily overpriced. an extra bright push type bulb in Bajaj ProBiking (the P220 pilot lamp) costs about Rs 100 each!

Does kerosine harm the o-ring seals?
