            • Take it to SVC and tell them to remove it. I did tthe same and removed it

Or you can do yourself at home but i dont recommend it...as you will need to remove the visor for that and if its loose then it can create vibrations..

Or you can even go to a local mechanic...

Someone needed the XBHP sticker.? Give this to the Sticker shop ..they will print it out and stick it for you

                    visor removal not required.

all you need to do is unscrew the 4 allen-bolts that keep the mirror bolted on.

once you've done that... remove the mirrors...
and then remove the number plate bracket.
then... put mirrors back... screw allen-bolts back in.

make sure they go back in straight (don't use the allen key)

use the allen-key to tighten it up.
                    .

                      That is incorrect.

Remove the mirrors with the allen key from your tool kit (remove the plastic caps to access the allen bolts holding the mirrors) and you can take off the number plate bracket, don't need to remove the visor.

Why do you need SVC or local mechs for such simple jobs?

                      • here's a hi-res pic of the bracket on the bike.

you can clearly see the number plate bracket between the mirror and R15 fairing.

                        very easy to remove.

Yes, I will keep myself in limit(though it is hard when u ride R15) until running in period over.
A question - Would it be OK to take it to triple digit after 1st service?

Advisable to do short bursts only , cruizing for long periods should be avoided ...
