He said because sprocket may be weared out more in one direction therefore he changed it

Bro I doubt that. If your sprocket has weared enough it should be changed. Check it with bajaj SC or some other mech. I don't have much idea about it, but I doubt that process. Senior Pulsarians please suggest.

When i serviced my bike this time i didn't understood two things which the mechanic has done
            1) He put the front sprocket (Near engine one) in opposite direction
            2) He applied grease in my chain instead of oil

So, what could be the reason for these two changes?
Its a common practice bro. Rest assured. No issues.

See, what happens is that with prolonged use, the sprocket wears and in most 2 wheelers it wears a wee bit more from one end/side. The only solution is to replace it, but you can still extract a couple of thousand kilometers by just flipping it to the other end. This is exactly what your mech did. (The uneven wear happens due to various factors, misalignment and wrong chain slack being the most common ones)

Also, usage of grease is to ensure that the lubrication is good enough in the last few thousand kms of the sprocket.

No change in riding, but there is some continuous sound since then, mechanic said it will go away after some run

but, mine has done 11K kms and sprocket is just like new, i've compared it with a new set of sprockets in the mechanic warehouse

Noise from where? After I got my piston kit changed, there was a tappet noise but that was lowered as I completed running in, after that I got it adjusted to mute the noise. So as per my understanding the point is since it's a new settigns try running for 500-700 good kms if still the noise is there take it to your mech.

Sprocket life depends not on the number of kms but on the way one rides his bike.

I'd my first sprocket change post 34k kms on my Karizma, a friend managed 32k on his Pulsar 220. But I have seen many Splendors with a bad sprocket within 25k kms. Hope that you can manage at least till 15k on the ODO if not more with the front sprocket reversed.

Also, if the sound is coming from the chain:
                      1. If its like a bicycle chain making a constant sweet 'sssssrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr' like noise, the chain is too tight. Get it adjusted.

                      2. If its a tak tak intermittent noise, then
                      a. Either the chain is very slack and hitting the swing arm. Get it tightened to spec.
                      b. The chain slide has loosened. Get it fixed.
                      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Or sprocket can go out of alignment too.

Missed 4-5 pages of action since I came to my hometown after 10 months. Nice to see the thread is now moving ahead.
On other note, I have to ditch my idea of riding to my hometown from my place of residence in Hyderabad. Roads are beyond recognition and has craters instead of potholes and has managed to kill even trucks and buses.
                            Regards,

I suspect it is from chain or sprocket side

Firstly, my heartly thanks to maadyy for replying all my posts and constantly visiting the thread

I also think so because my tyre does not seem to be aligned because the adjustment scale reads different readings on both side, this time also i said my mechanic to align it properly but they were unable to do it , it is so tightly fixed or the mechanic does not know how to do it properly, i dont know but it is not aligned that's what i can see clearly

I will post the pics soon

                                Any Tips for this?

Mine is making sound like a electric current (Chir-Chir type) and sound increases as the speed increases
