hi , the output is very similar to he FX-r . it also has a clear lens and gives a nice blue cutoff . it costed me 2400 each for 1 bi xenon projector . an HID costs around 1500 so its total 3900 much lesser than 5500 that u are quoting . the spread is too good , w8 some time for a few pics i'l upload .

            Bro,
I really wish I could provide you the BOSCH E-46 Bi-xenon projectors but then they are imported in INDIA anyway(By Us or By BOSCH themselves).
E-46 is by far one of the best offerings from BOSCH for retrofitting world over in clear lens and even you and many ppl would like to have it, however the downside is that a clean pair itself will drill a big-big hole in pocket and then there is so much of hassle of getting proper D2S HID's and then the SHROUD's and then finally Angel Eyes.

All this hassle just to get clean and class light with proper cut off which could be easily attained by the whole BI-Xenon Projector KIT (Bi-xenons + HID's + Angel Eyes+ Shrouds ) and lifetime warranty on projectors and clear lens, after all we here all need it for our BIkes.
And trust me I'am not telling you an alternative, Its the best thing one could do and that too very easy to retro-fit in contrasts to getting other Branded OEM Bi-Xenons from overseas. Because all one wants is world class brightness at night with looks as well which is just the bonus

            • Hi

I ride a 14K old Thunderbird Twinspark (Stock apart from the Horn and Goldie silencer) and I am looking to enhance the Light setup in my bike. I have seen few HID's which looks round in shape and little bit smaller than the head light (Fixed like a indicator in bulls) which according to me looks ugly. Rather I prefer a separate unit on Crash guard.

              My requirements are,

To use in the fogy weather like in hills.
To use it on highway when the visibility is less
Can be single piece or double and should look neat.
              Good branded one

can you guys throw some light on this as I am not aware of the Mods needed, Price, Brands available and any issues if we fit these kind of fog lights.

The ones u said are spot lights which generally u see in Bullets to the left and right side.
You can go with 4300k HID's which Navnish provides in Bangalore. The best HID's so far available.

                  • How this HID Kit is fitted. Is it a separate piece mounted in the crashguard / some place which we like or is it like fitting in the headlights itself.

How good it is in the fog and the Highways at night time.

                    Any specific mods needed?

                    How much is the price??

Sorry for the silly questions.I am very pathetic with the technical stuffs.

you can install an HID in you present lamp .
Hid needs DC current to run and a 4300k HID runs brilliant in night in highways though in fogs a yellow light works better .
costs around 1600-1800 for 1 bike hid kit .

If you can afford then fitting and making them work is never a big deal. AFAIK HELLA's with Halogen starts from 2000rs a pair and goes up to 80000rs a pair. (HID ready with in built ballast)

IMO instead of spending 2000rs for a pair, spend 2500 on a HID

                            • But wont 2 HELLA's with Halogen be more powerful than a HID????

Will the stock Battery and wiring setup of TBTS be able to handle this extra load???

no way a enfield can handle 2 hellas's . IF your bike has dc electricals then hid can be put easily with no load on stock electricals .

                                a 35 watt Hid gives around 2800-3200 lumens , a standard 55 watt Halogen gives around 1400 lumens .
