    any advices are welcome
On stock electricals you wont be able to get optimum brightness from 55/60w.

n will stock electricals be able to take added load??
bike comes with 9AH battery...dont know about coil though
am using osram silverstar 55/60 on my gs without any issues. brightness much better than stock, and I feel much safer while night riding on highways esplly. Is is fine even under continuous usage on long drives. IMO, u may give it a try. but it is equally important to have the beam focused properly.

Also, I have disconnected the 2 front pilot lamps, which frees up extra 10W. You will find however that max brightness is achieved at higher rpms - about 3.5K.

      ride safe !

It is good to have an end to journey towards; but it is the journey that matters in the end.

          • I am getting HID lights. Only difference is low beam will be reguler Halogen bulb, and the High BeAm will actually be GREEN like the font and its suppose to be really hott. i havent seen it. My mec told me that its really good looking and all and i really trust him because of the fact that i do everything from wiring to opening up the whole bike etc. so i trust him... Ill post pic's after i do some insurance work for the panel's and get the bike perfect again in bout 10 days..... There are many HID's avaliable, White, Blue, Pink, Purple, and Green. Purple is really popular and green is supposedly new.

imo you are wasting money getting green hid lights . visibility will be compromised and its not legal either . why not go for ccfl rings and a normal halogen or oem color Hid .

i know about the visibility part, but its jst something that i been wanting and ill have it replaced with white HID bulb (4300) in a matter of a month or so. I dont get to do much touring, just sometimes from vadodara to amdavad and or another place 120 KM's total...

+1 to Puneet, u r going to wast the money for a fancy light. Its not good for visibility in anyway. Once u drive with this unrealistic CT, u will be blessed with sour eyes and may cause illusions to you as well as to the oncomers too. So think twice before u opt.

Im not sayin Puneet is wrong but where i live, HID (any color.. white, blue etc) are illegal and i forgot to add that my low beam will be a normal halogen bulb and the high beam will be the green HID. I know i can use the green HID when im on empty roads and etc. Am i wrong about that? what you think?

                          The R15 has h4 bulbs .

                          Guys update from my side.
Got my hands on a hella micro DE. Fixed a h3c hid bulb on it and was very very very happy about the light output. The beam spread is more like the 220s low beam but its brighter.

Hella micro de costs 5400/- for a pair. And its totally worth it .

Will post some pics tonight This setup will work out expensive but i feel its totally worth it as the quality of the Micro De is excellent . This should work as a good option for aux light for any bike . Working on a fixture so that it will be plug and play.

Converting Halogen / HID headlamp setups to FULL LED.

I changed headlight today. i searched many shops for 55/60 OSRAM SILVERSTAR but it wasnt available anywhere, all of them said "55/60 nahi chalata hum sirf 100/90 ke uper ka osram rakhate hai."
so started looking for Phillips, I got Phillips 55/60 H4 bulb which was Made in Germany..got it for INR 160,
there was Indian {so called Korean} version too which was INR 80. I settled with German bulb. yet to check it out in night, when i checked in parking it brights up above 2500 RPM i am very satisfied with light provided.
I havent changed Parking lights though, thinking about changing em to free 10W. i looked for em too but no one had red colored ones3

I want to get one of those 4300k bixenons for my ZMA,saw it in TSG2G and quite impressed.Currently I am running on 6000k High beam xenon and I am OK with the luminance...but the dipper got busted after a long run(7hr) in heavy rain
I am looking for something which is bright and durable at same time.
My electricals(read battery!!!) are still in stock condition.

Can you please suggest me something, I have to change it in next weekend ???
