Hi xbhp-ians,

I am new here, and had been googling for angel eyes as a DIY project and I cam across an interesting video on youtube. So, I thought of sharing it with you all. The end product featured in the video is for a car, but it can very well be accomplised for bikes.

Yes. I'm using Philips Crystal Vision 60/55 W.

It cost Rs. 420/- in Coimbatore. The ordinary yellow ones are cheap. You can get it between Rs. 100/- to 150/-

Beware, rain can make your white light 'nothing', what I have experienced for the past one week this monsoon. I mean, water on road is a pain with white lights.

5Ah Battery for R15?

My stock Minda 3.5Ah battery on my two year old R15 is dying, and this is my second Minda battery. I had to change the first one just two days after my ownership.

Fuels prices are skyrocketing, so I'm contemplating taking a month's leave and heading somewhere for 30 days (maybe, Bhutan or Burma still figuring things out)

I'm thinking of going in for a decent branded HID (something in the lines of OSRAM Xenarc or Philips).

I found Base Terminal 5Ah batteries which directly fits into the R15's battery pocket. I need feedbacks on two things: OSRAM Xenarc 35w HIDs and Base Terminal as a battery brand.

Please share your opinions guys!

Thanx bro, I know White light can be a pain in rains. But I live in New Delhi where it rains the least. On top of that I hardly ride during night...only on weekends, so should not be much of an issue.

that much cheap, is it fulfill our night lighting?

Mine is 2 months old CBZ EXTREME. when i ask a battery shop about rewinding of stator for 55w/60w bulb he said there is no need to rewind just try the 55wbulb if it gives u enough light then no need to worry. is it true. i heard that using 60w in stock condition affect the coil durability

Bulb change for RTR 180

Hiii....i bought RTR 180 ABS...want to change the bulb from 35w to 55w...battery 12V, 9AMP full DC....is there any problem to make this thing up for now n future???

Hi!! Currently I am facing a great trouble with the light on my HH CBZ Classic. Recently I changed the whole glass frame also but no change in the vision. When it rains and the road become damp and watery, then its impossible to notice anything. Please suggest how to improve the vision of my bike.

I think he is talking about just the plastic cover over the headlight part.

Yes, I mean the whole glass headlight dome. I did not exactly remember but it costs me around Rs.500, bulb and clamp extra.

get your stator & sockets cleaned & check the wiring for possible faults. Apply petroleum jelly on sockets & terminals. Then clean the dome with a soft cloth & colin... Let us know the results, visibility should improve.
