Hi guys,
Can anyone suggest me a good HID kit 4300K 35W available in Bangalore for my Pulsar 220S. I would also like to have the LED pilot lamps similar to what lockhrt999 has installed. Bangalore bhpians, pls pour in your advices and suggestions.
I am pretty sure JC Road is the haven for such mods, but if one of you has done it and satisfied with the work, it would be a great step to progress for me.
Cheers!! Ride Safe!!The rider doesn't pick the bike, the bike picks the rider

im running on the bi-xenon HID projectors for almost 5months now. the bike is 1 and a half years old. Its showing signs of a weak battery. It refuses to start up and at times I had to go for a push start in the 2nd gear.....I suspect it on the projectors. I never turn on the lights wen the bike is idle. But still its consuming a lot of power. Its a 35w thing. Can anyone suggest me a method to get out of it. Is there any better battery available for the r15. Guys please help me out here

Eyes To My Bird
Been about 6 months since i got my thunderbird. I've done a couple of night rides and the headlights are a downer... does anyone have a solution for this.
My stock one is a 35/35 W hal running on a 12v 14 ah DC battery.
My budget is about 1k.
How much do HID's cost? what else can i go in for....?

For a 1k budget the best bet would be a osaram nightbreaker . But if you want something more a hid will be the best .Originally posted by akshayrbk View PostBeen about 6 months since i got my thunderbird. easy 2 minutes job.. no hassels.. as TB is DC..Originally posted by akshayrbk View PostBeen about 6 months since i got my thunderbird. I've done a couple of night rides and the headlights are a downer... does anyone have a solution for this.

1. Buy a H4 55W philips premium bulb for 85 bucks from any car shop and replace the stock bulb. Don't worry, battery can easily take it.. just don't keep lights on while the bike is not running.
2. Learn how to adjust headlight focus. generally there is a simple screw below headlight, rotating which causes light focus to go up / down.. this is a 2-3 times Trial and error activity.
try it and you would be a happy man..
ride on..

HID in pune
Hi akshayrbk,Originally posted by akshayrbk View PostThanks... How much would a HID cost? also i'm looking for something that wont go too hard on my battery.... how is the installation and are there any good brands?
I have a FZ and i also want to upgrade my light to HID setup.
I have inquired in Nana Peth, there asking price is 1500 rs to 2000 Rs.(With no warranty )
But i do not believe the Nana Peth guy. They are all fake Chinese product.
I think no branded HID is available for bikes. Or are the available??
If you find any one who can give good branded HID with warranty then kindly let me know.
Also who will do the conversion (any good garage) ?
Thanx

Even i couldnt find a decent HID,, there are a few on ebay for less than 2k (search HID) but no warranty.. I am thinking of going to a good car garage that do headlight mods.. they might be able to suggest some. And if you are going in for a projector the best option i think would be the P220 ka projectors.. as far as i know FZ is full DC, see if your battery supports it. I'll check and post the price for the projector soonOriginally posted by KALINGA View PostHi akshayrbk,

A good hid will cost you anything around 2800 /- 3800/- comes with warranty you have options of 35w and 50/55w . for the fz the best setup is a bixenon it comes with a wiring harness and its plug and play .Originally posted by akshayrbk View PostThanks... yeah.. branded HID comes pricey.. think goes upto 5K-8K for philips one..
you can go for chineese one with no waranty..
like there is a shop probiker helmets.. he sell it for 1K.. and get it fixed for 500 by known mechanic (u can get it fixed yourself from outside too)... looks decent enough..
search 'probiker' is a member on xbhp as well..
