1st, LED indicator means you need another additional component in the bike to be changed and that is the flasher. You need electronic flasher to use LED indicators otherwise they would not glow. That is not available in any Indian bike so only Chinese eFlashers are available on eBay. Can't comment on their reliability.Originally posted by sunilyo View Post@raneet any specific reason for not using LED lights for indicators, tail lamp etc.?
2nd, I personally feel CBR250R tail looks amazing and the bulb tail is a reason for that. LED on the same tail would not look that neat as it looks now. It has a rugged look and LED would make it look sophisticated. Wouldn't suit the rest of the bike.

Thanks Raneet for your reply. What about using the flasher from KTM Duke 200. They have LED indicators. Will they work with any bike or only KTM?Originally posted by Raneet View Post1st, LED indicator means you need another additional component in the bike to be changed and that is the flasher. KTM duke does not have a separate flasher. It has a BCU like Pulsars. It cannot be installed.Originally posted by sunilyo View PostThanks Raneet for your reply. What about using the flasher from KTM Duke 200. They have LED indicators. Will they work with any bike or only KTM?

Got a HID fit recently in my bullet and faced a few issues.
The length of original seal beam is very less, so the reflector had to be turned and twisted to accomodate projector. The projector was touching the glass of sealbeam from inside. While fixing it in headlight assembly, the glass broke. Had to buy another sealbeam (of Gypsy). To increase the gap, Ruby electricals got a nylon ring made and fitted the projector. Now there was enough gap between projector and reflector glass. Today morning I noticed that the glass has cracked from one corner. Can anyone suggest what should I do? I have removed the speedometer cable to get more space yet it happened. To you I'm an atheist; to God, I'm the Loyal Opposition.

Bro its a well known fact that HID's heats up the glass and the reflector more than normal halogen.. Though you didnt mention if the HID's u r using is 35w or 55w or more...still i think that the glass is not made up to bear such high level of heat... now as of the remedy...i can only think that if you can fit those reflector glass which are used in mahindra jeep(can find it in scrap yardddds) it will work. my friend had similar problem, and its working now after i suggested...so plz confirm with other geeks of automobile in this forum... :-)Originally posted by TheNoobGeek View PostGot a HID fit recently in my bullet and faced a few issues.

Thanks for the response raj, mine is a 35w HID. BTW, what difference will a jeep's reflector glass since I used a gypsy's glass currently? Will it be more heat resistant?Originally posted by raj157 View PostBro its a well known fact that HID's heats up the glass and the reflector more than normal halogen.. As far as i know if the electrical set up is a DC setup there is no problem upgrading to Hid (with projectors).. SO HID's i have seen have earthing also... i am using 2 HIDS .. faced no problem till date bro.... i am enjoying the bright light....while the unruly truck drivers are giving me way on the highroad....Life is like riding a motorcycle. Hi Princesirohi,Originally posted by princesirohi View Post@ kiran gupta & sudipt24: first of all check whether your headlights are properly focussed.
if you still find it less than desired, you can opt for HID's. now-a-days it cost less than 2000 rupees
for correct headlamp focus visit the link in my signature.
thanks for the Advice. i went to the SVC and adjusted the Focus. now the light is much better but its not up to the mark on Highways. so can you please advice if i can fit the HID to my Yamaha SZR bike. it is a DC bike (Light can be switched on without staring the bike, this is my understanding of a DC bike
).i don't have any knowledge about the Electrical's of the bike
.so i dont know how much power is generated from the dynamo etc etc.
but i know that my bike have a 12V,5 AH(10H) battery the headlight is a Halogen bulb (12 V, 35/35 W).
therefore can a HID kit be fitted on to my bike. please advice what i need to do to get this done.
