Same with my michilin tyres even after 500Kms there is hardly any loss of air - i set rear 39 and front 25 .
please tell me one thing , is this diamond or any other chain thicker in width compared to OEM chain ? Or is it of the same size ?

Yes, you're right. It didn't cross my mind that with the increase in number of teeth, there might be a prob with closing the link. Waiting for Sibun's reply on the same.

And the one we have as stock,MRF Zapper are so bad in rains.so slippery.can u post the exact name of these tyres so that i can inquire the rate of those 2.

I changed both front and back at the same time cost me like 5K total but its well worth it .

About the stock chain kit even when it was new it needed frequent tightening .

Axle bolt thing let me quote sibun here :

I guess i need to do it as well, axle nut is the one which they tighten whenever chain tension is to be adjusted.will get it done next time i adjust my chain.

what you need is sticky tyre like SIRAC street - no matter what brake pad you change with the stock tyre you wont notice much diff. in braking i am afraid.
Waiting for these stock tyres to get busted

                • Take a quote from the ASC as well as the local paint shops , infact if you get it done at a local paint shop , you can choose your own colour of paint and even the type of finish .

Some times they may help you claim insurance as well . Just check and ask for quotes from 2-3 different ASC and local paint shops.

I ve heard CBZ tank is expensive. See if you can install unicorn tank , its cheaper and bigger

Since this is a metal part, I believe insurance will cover this. But there are some exclusions to this; you may check with the ASC guys, they will advise you regarding how you need to inform this to insurance guys for claiming it. Probably you'll have to write a story to present before them

Just a suggestion , leave it , i read it somewhere , not able to find the link though.

SOme guy wanted a bigger tank for long touring hence he did some mods and fitted it. It was not all that bad.

what about loosening your axle bolt, chain adjuster and push your axle to front to make one more link available for the additional tooth?
I think this will work if you chain tensioner is already at the rear end

Hi Well in that case you should Clean your chain then put the burnt oil and then apply Littile Grease, keep ur bike alon for 1 hour and then ride it. The sound which comes after this- you will love it and bike becomes smooth. try it once and every 500KM

Thanks that worked but i had to try pushing it hard - after lot of pushing i managed to move the rod forward and now the uni sprocket fits correctly . Too early to say anything about the new sprocket but it feels very diff . compared to stock - will take it to the highway and see .

On stock sprocket yesterday did a trip to chennai and as i have completed 1000 Kms i increased the speed to 70KM/hr gradually and even with a pillion it hits the 70 mark effortlessly with just a small twist of the throttle and it felt so smooth - no vibration nothing - on the stock bore that came from factory used to vibrate when i cross the 60km/hr mark - the foot pegs kept on vibrating till 75km/hr for some reason on the old bore .

Bike returning 48km/lt but the engine does heat up a lot on long rides with a pillion - i cant even touch the crankcase for more than a second now after 30 kms of constant riding .
