I would like to vary here as extreme has much fiercer acceleration after 80 kph. From 80 kph to 120 kph bike justs pulls like ass is on fire.

And also the extreme can comfortably nudge 116-117 kph which the mag has described at 110.9 kph. May be they are riding a new bike with less run-in. However other bikes are also very good.

Got for 14-42 combo. Do not use 15 teeth as that punch will get lost and bike will not feel punchy and eager to ride.

my doubt was also the same since they have mentioned gear shift problem and yes i feel very fast post 80kmph.

ok done. But its really hard to find sprocket alone all the shops have the entire set only. that\'s why thought of changing entire set. Will go for a hunt this weekend. Thanks.

The guy who answered the call gave me another person\'s number who gave me another person\'s number who gave ,e the contact details of OM Sri Rajarajeshwari Agency in Madiwala. Its 39k on odo and chain was due for replacement long back. Checked for Diamond in 3-4 shops, but no luck. Diamond was available for Unicorn(Rs. 930) and Shopkeeper insisted me on buying it. He was telling he has given it to many Xtreme/Hunk owners. Went to Om Motors (Poonamalle road) and OE was available for Rs 873, which was Rolon make. Pics of new and old chain/sprockets below.

And checked about shock absorbers in Om Motors, and they were telling about old Xtreme shocks with silver springs which costs 1500 per piece. Did Xtreme shocks ever come with silver springs?

Dude...I just installed 15T unicorn front sprocket...and I love it very much than stock ...for touring it is highly recommended...I initially searched for rear sprocket but no luck and so I bought front finally...local made 50 rupees... There is a shop in maduraivoil road they have everything if not also they can order it on request ...they quoted OEM xtreme chain set as 850...we can bargain too.....btw I will post detail review about 15T soon .

Most of my riding is within city, I remember some earlier posts saying, the bike will be lugging inside city needing more frequent gear shifts, also Sibun suggests the stock setup. So thought of staying stock. I think with 15T the bike will attain speeds at lesser RPM\'s which result in better fuel economy on highways. Let us know more once you clock more kms in this setup.

But the pickup is slightly better and mileage also improved a bit I think.

Between, you bought new chain or just switched to new sprocket alone?

yup, the engine is stressed less than stock. initially me too searched for rear alone, but all they got is only front. so bought only the front. i didnt buy entire kit because the stock is gonna give up in 2000km or so. hence for testing purpose installed front alone and during my actual replacement of chain set, i will buy whichever i feel good.
but so far iam impressed.

sure i will post a detail review on 15T sprocket.

hi guys... anyone know what is the size of hunk and extreme pilot jet?? I know that the stock main jet is 128, someone kindly let me know the stock size of the pilot jet as well. In unicorn/dazzler it is 35 and I am hoping for a 40 here... Thanks...

Experts help me out on this one! I am looking to replace my Hunk\'s ageing tyres, stock tyres have done only 22K km, but they are almost 6 years old. I want something that grips well hence decided to go for zapper q 110/90 section for the rear, but I am not sure which one to choose for the front, current front tyre feels too flat or thin to do proper cornering, I could see that I have almost used the entire width of the tyre(no chicken stripes) while the rear still has a thick chicken stripe. I need something with a much more rounded profile than stock, I am specific about the handling part since I am planning to take my bike to the race track.

Quick update, installed Zapper Q 110/90 18 for the rear from a nearby shop, searched everywhere and found that most of them had old stock and finally visited Sri Padmavathi tyre shop in arcot road, price quoted was 2700INR including tube and installation, work was done in 5 mins flat and I paid the requested amount

Sadly they didn't have any MRF for front tyre, hence still looking for one! One shop had stock of 90/90 18 Zapper FS, but he quoted 2.3K for it

No the extreme pilot jet is also 35 size only.

My joy has a pilot jet of 38 size,

And the Cd and splendor prior to Y2k models(short silencer ones) were having pilot jet size of 42.

By the way did you encounter any problem while fitting 110/90 with regards to chain cover and brake rod.

I am thinking of changing my CBZ tyres. As for front you can go for 80/100-18 from present cbz. Else you can go for 90/90 - 18 as you have mentioned. But too thicker tyre in front will make the bike steering feel heavier.

I didn't do any adjustment as of now, but Clearance is bit TOO tight IMO

Slight bend has to be made to the brake rod and chain cover if you want peace of mind, but no scars on tyre as of now, have to go for a long ride and make sure I am not doing something stupid :P

And about 90/90 front, will it be bit more rounded than stock?, because that is what I am looking for, stock seems to have very little surface area to lean on, which restricts lean angle by a good margin. Your advise on this?

Need inputs for the front guys, please help me out!

I had the 120/80 section of Zapper Q for around 15k kms. It was slightly touching the upper chain cover.
I think 110/90 shouldn't have any issues. Someones else have mentioned about using 110/90 on Hunk without any mods in our thread itself.
