Here also they charge 225 for paid service charge, but in the above mentioned list he listed fork overhaul charge 450 separately, so this 495 should be paid service charge, believe. Pleas enlighten me. Because I get everything separately listed in my bill.Originally posted by RAK View Post#RetiredRider

I should say its better having a local bike mechanic who you know very well and who won't cheat you. I have been giving my bike for yrs to the same guy and if some thing need's to be changed on the bike he will call me 1st and ask before doing any thing on the bike.Originally posted by nand15 View PostHere in B'lore in think it's around the same everywhere ... we pay more for everything man !

Yes I agree , the problem is the "family" mech shut shop and shifted ... the guys around are not reliable enough ... they seem clueless when I tell them about some problem with the bike ... the SVC experience has been good thus far ...Originally posted by Sydney C View PostI should say its better having a local bike mechanic who you know very well and who won't cheat you. P.S : he showed me today that my rear tyre was leaking air from two puncture's which were fixed , so he said this process would jus keep repeating , fill air once a week and ride till it's time to change the tyre .
i lose about 6 psi per week ...

*bump*.........Originally posted by rkakkar View Postguys i have my sixth and last free service coming up in two weeks.
Anything special i should get done? Like a particular oil to put in, lubrications, settings etc? Cause after my sixth service, my next paid service would only be after 3k (instead of after 3 months) as my running is low. My total kms so far is around 7.6kAlways assume the other guy will mess up - Ride Defensively!

remember twist the throttle gently and slowly maintaing beteween the optimum speed for efficency
