
So I believe it depends on riding technique rather than applying too much or being too much dependant on braking which reduces the life span of the brake pads. Change your riding habit/style, understand basic physics of kinetic energy and how to enter a corner and exit speed without using much of braking (unless you are trying to be Rossi) etc. and it will reflect on the parts lasting more than the average.
