      I had changed the whole set. Front sprok + chain + rear sprok. Will try reversing.

        Please don't reverse because already the teeth profile is sinked in. Did you change the 4 rubber cushions

        Cheers

              Yes. I had got them changed when I changed the alloy (it had bent pretty badly by a pothole).

              They are a critical part of the rear system along with hub bearing and also the most neglected parts.

              Ride safe and have fun.

                  So when did you last change rear sprocket. Is it possible to post a photo of your rear sprocket. I think the rear sprocket is the problem

                  Cheers

                  • Advice needed: front right side fork on Yamaha FZ

                    Hi all. Please see the attached two images. The first one shows that the fork arm dust cap seal is somewhat worn out and theres oil residue on the fork cylinder itself. The second one shows the oil residue on my finger. Do I need to replace the seal and change the fork oil? Please share your expert advice. I also experience a 'Trrrrrr' sound sometimes from the fork when I hit the front brake.

                      Yes brother, you have to change the fork seal and fork oil.

                      fork seal => 250/- (each)
                      fork oil => 185/- ( 500ml )

                      what service manual says:-

                      fork oil grade => 10W
                      fork oil quantity => 459ml per fork.

                          Yes, the seal is leaking. It isn't alarming, but you should try to change it at the earliest.
                          Replace the oil and the seals. One thing to note is that you should change the oil and seals for both the forks. That way the damping will be same for both.

                          Ride safe and have fun.
