The thicker the better. 90 EP is best suited for chains but as with any oil, they splash and the muck involved to clean them is a PITA post the lubing process. But, apart from that, these are cheap and economical for a DIY person. But for clean, perfect spray, a dedicated chain sprayer would be advised.

As long as there are no missing and no slipping of the starter, you absolutely have no problem. Now to add to the trivia check if you find any abnormal whizzing sound in the starter, when the starter cranks, if there is nothing, then your starter is absolutely fine.

As I couldn't find a 10mm wire nearby so used this combination of two 4mm wire(Yellow). Hope there is nothing wrong in doing this way.
One immediate improvement I could feel was more acceleration for same throttle opening, Would be able to comment about other things after riding it for sometime.

After riding it for 2-3 km while checking the connection tightness I found the RR was very hot. Is it usual ?

PS: The other two wires(green from -ve and black for +ve terminal) taken from battery are for cigarette lighter which I use as a supply for electric air pump and mobile charger.

Is it possible to remove the middle black fairing alone, or should we remove other fairing also to access the rr unit?

You need to remove the allen bolt from the bigger fairing where the middle and bigger fairing meets. Once that is removed, remove the left side tail panel and you can remove the middle panel, you do not have to completely diamantle it.

Cannot get the pictures now, I will post with pictures tomorrow.

                Cheers,

I'm using CBR 150r front brake pads and p220 rear pads, been about a good 2000-3000km I think half life left, also put steel braided brake lines on the front brakes, and the number of situations it has saved me lately are commendable. If you have a standard model my advice is to change ur front brake lines to steel braided ones.

Friends I live in an iron ore mining town, all roads here turn into living hell especially in rains. The roads turn into pools of dabur lal toothpaste. Problem is my cbr is literally bathed in that mud, Radiator fin area is the most affected. my question can the front mudguard can be modified or can I retrofit mudguard of some other bike for protection.
Also a bull( animal) rammed my
Stationary bike yesterday, luckily damage was only a bent front number plate but after riding the bike i feel the left clip on bar a little bent, can I fix it DIY or needs an ASC visit.

I am using that only, I have posted earlier on these brake pads, I bought em from a shop near ekkaduthangal, guindy in Chennai, a sort of wholesale shop, it was around 150-160 and p220 pads were about 200.

Thankyou!. I knew about the 220's rear pads... which i find equally good as compared to stock. Will get 150r's pad for front next time.

Even if your not sure , check the size dimensions of both the pads, it's very similar.

When I bought it last year my main concern was a 12V socket for my air pump. This mobile phone charging socket came along with it but this one takes way too long to charge a mobile. You see if you could find some other socket with higher output current~2 Amp.

Fairly explained by Sanjay. Just to make it little more clear, one doesn't have to completely remove the left side tail panel, removing one bolt which is under rider's seat will do.

You can reach RR unit by removing these 4 bolts and taking out the middle black fairing
