Anyone here a member of MMSC ? I have heard they allow bikes in the morning and cars in from the noon in the track on some particular days, Is this still going on there? I am planning to take my baby there in a couple of months.

Hi,Originally posted by The Stig View PostNow a days even my bike is heating up very very quickly, and the radiator fan turns on after only few kilometers of riding at average speeds. The radiator fan make awful lot of noise and its vibes have also become very severe and can be easily felt over engine's vibes at low speeds.
What could have been the issue? Took it to SVC today they said it is normal, just clean the muck on the fan to reduce the vibes.
Have tried it will update tomorrow if it has worked.
Meanwhile please add your views on the possible cause of the issue.
Thank You.
It is normal that the fan goes on very soon when in slow moving traffic. About the vibrations, as mentioned, please check for some debris stuck on the fan or also the fan not being mounted properly........

Play in the Handle
Guys any of you feeling that there is a play in the handle of CBR or is it just coz of soft suspension.I feel that the handle vibrates when i leave it at around 60-70kmph, anyone else facing similiar issues. The average is also around 20-25 kmpl , i know its a performance bike but will the average depend on the low RPM's and break in ?

Hi
Fuel efficiency completely depends on your riding style. So did you do a hard break-in or follow the manual?Originally posted by TrueBlueBikeR View PostGuys any of you feeling that there is a play in the handle of CBR or is it just coz of soft suspension.I feel that the handle vibrates when i leave it at around 60-70kmph, anyone else facing similiar issues. The average is also around 20-25 kmpl , i know its a performance bike but will the average depend on the low RPM's and break in ?

One needn't be a member of MMSC for this; what you heard is right. The morning session is from 9 or 10 AM upto 1:00 PM. IIRC, its Rs 400 per session for motorcycles.Originally posted by Youngking View PostAnyone here a member of MMSC ? I have heard...couple of months.
Good that your bought up this topic; Despite all the vibes I experience, I don't have this issue at any speedOriginally posted by TrueBlueBikeR View PostGuys any of you feeling that there is a play in the handle of CBR or is it just coz of soft suspension

^^^ If you haven't read the owner's manual, read it. If you've read it already, re-read it

Maiden G2G to madness!
Hi guys attended my first G2G with 4 of the xbhp riders, and only 1 CBR(me) turned up for the ride. Was a fantastic experience. Even after the G2G got over 2 mad nuts(kamikaze(P220) & me) were still hungry for miles
. Headed towards MC'd on krishangiri route
.
And Guys lot happened in the ride after the G2G ride
. We were cruising in the nice ring road heading towards hosur road. The stretches were very tempting i couldn't resist
. After few attempts I managed to break the sound barrier
, unrealistic? ok I did 153kmph! It could have still crawled up but while i was in dilemma whether to push or not the stretch got over.
And another news most of you won't believe even i did not believe at first. When i toped up my tank reaching Mc'd it had done 246.6 Kms and the fuel filled was 5.89(400Rs). Don't take your calculator I have already done it unbelievable 41.76kmpl. I bet no one here believes me, I have a witness, kamikaze
. I was like
!! he was like
!!(since his p220 drank for 600bucks). only 4or5 minutes top speed rides, rest highway ride between 70-100kmph, includes a uphill ride as well
.
For pics check bangalore kadambam G2G thread later.Last edited by Youngking; 07-02-2011, 06:18 PM.Explore the unexplored!

I'm not even interested to own C250R by the way things are going on with it; forget alone riding on the trackOriginally posted by Youngking View PostIf not are you interested to join me after a couple of months
?
Beyond 4500 RPM (70 Kmph) & 6th gear there's real good vibrations starting from thighs all way up to foot; the RVM's have minor vibrations at idle. Do any of the C250R owner's experience the same two symptoms? I simply don't feel like owning the bike anymore. Like they say, first impression is best impression, may be probably that is lost. Damn!!! My 20 year old Rx has the same vibrations only after 85 Kmph!!!
When I call up the HMSI personnel, he asks me to take it to the ASC. So, in 15 days of ownership, there're about 3+ times of visit to ASC. And if I take to ASC, I've to leave the vehicle over there & the vehicle is at the risk of all curious hands. When I took the vehicle last Wednesday, I found a very minor scratch at the exhaust shield. Anyway, I let it go at the happiness of getting back my vehicle.
I'm not happy with the way things keeps going. First the cylinder, now vibrations & don't know what else will popup next. Does anyone have any contacts on upper management from HMSI? I'd really appreciate if someone has & comes forward to share with me. Tks.Last edited by aargee; 07-02-2011, 07:24 PM.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Even in my bike the RVM vibrates a bit when idling, I think that is normal with every bike. Even my left RVM vibrates a bit at 90+ speeds.
It will be wise to check with the SVC if the engine is fastened thightly(correctly) to the frame and if they have missed any vibe dampers(if any) when putting the new engine. This was the case with my apache after a tightening the nuts the vibes will be out for few day but will again creep in, after all that is its birth character.
May sound useless but no harm in giving this a try, Put some hard words about your experience and mail to [email protected]. When I did the same on my delear I got a positive reply and a good response from my delear then on. Some guy named Sundeep Rai from Customer Relations had replied me on that.
Good luck!Explore the unexplored!
