by this your task will be done(transport the bike) and you will have the joy of life as well.

Give me sometime; let me come back, complete my 1K mark & then we'll wage the war. This time, I'll walk to consumer forum directly or start shooting physical mails rather than e-mails. And should a defect to be found, I'm in no mood for fixing but rather obtain a complete refund.

              Not worth!!!
It was quite surprising to see the filter available here in US costed about $5.5, which is pretty much the same price as in India.

Hmm...quite surprising!!! You could be right as Thai version also says to replace every 12K while the engine oil change is every 6K. I'm one paranoid who would change the engine oil filter too...being a 4Joke!!!

I think the engine is still new and I have red lined only once or twice, and only one or two acceleration bursts. And also in the last G2G heard from the ducati monster owner that his run in is like >5.5K rpm for 1000Kms and >6.5K for next 15K kms. Though mine is not a ducati engine according to the manufacturers it seems engine takes atleast >10K kms to set. So I thought I would change to mineral oil and run the engine little hard before the oil and filter are changed for the next service .

                • YoungK - I'm commenting no more on engine oils; I'll let our good friend PSR ji to speak more on it. But a word of caution, if you try to switch to synthetic in between, you're going to have issues...for sure. Just listen what he has got to say. I know you've all the good book's education & he has all the experience; so I'd or rather WE expect to hear from both of you. So don't get us disappointed

Yes me too surprised, coz i do change my RTR oil filter once in every 2.5K kms

don't know y and what;s the capacity of CBR 250 oil filter - Still i am gona change my oil filter every 6k kms

Went to T.Nagar Didar for giving my cbr for 1st service (thrice from the odometer reading of 530 km - 830 km) even ever i am going there, the response is - " sir no place to have your bike, it will get scratches due to space constraint, so please bring tomorrow..! " and its repeated for 3 days..!

i don't understand the logic behind it..., why they can't Accommodate the bike for service..! they should responsible for having space if am right- due to that my trip to Madurai and Tanjore getting delayed

I raised my concern - and they agreed to take the bike for service tomorrow.

what are the items that i should ensure on the first service ( i doubt' whether they will change the oil filter or not) other than that i need the suspension need to adjust apart from that i don't notice any issues..! Can any one help me!

It won't cost half of the bike man...I am enquiring it for shifting my ZMA from cuttack to Bangalore, still waiting for the quotation.Planning for a ride to cuttack in next couple of months .Will PM you their number later.Call me on 08041490928 after 9PM anyday. I have contacts in Manipal who might help you there as well .
Another option: Give me the amount you will give to the courrier service, I will ride myself , take care of the bike and deliver it in Manipal.

                        • @Sanmuha - I keep saying it all over the forum on the oil filter's capacity. 1.8 lts on a new motorcycle, 1.5 lts when the oil filter is changed & 1.4 lts when it involves only a oil change.

Pls do search for previous posts on the care to be taken during the service; be it first or any general one.

Didar T.Ngr really is out of space. If you're so paranoid on it, you can take to JSP Padipudhunagar; they've an A/C lounge for customers as well as for servicing C250R.

I found the same and also found the below when selected Honda CBR 250R [250cc]. The one which you have posted is for 249cc. No idea about the one (249cc/250cc) which we get here.
