from where u came to about 12 months waiting period. .?Originally posted by SivaAN View PostHey rmchhetri,
I do have patience but not like 12 months waiting period. Thanks for your valuable feedback here. I have read through the complete thread and hence this apprehension. If I would not have come across this thread, I would have been riding the horse now :-)
Cheers

Rahul - Why talk OT here esp on someone who's not even a owner; let's move
I guess its Bladeboy, how many days did you have to wait for the RVM's?
All others, appreciate if you can share how many days you've waited for any of the parts. I'm waiting for over 2 weeks for sprockets & till date no one knows ETA for the same. TIA.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Its unfortunate that HMSI had to rush the launch and started delivering (bike ofcourse!) without proper inspection in the initial days. However I don't see any body else complaining anymore. The only challenge though is spare parts availability.Originally posted by SivaAN View PostHey rmchhetri,

But again, its for you, suggest you take a few test rides of both the machines in question and then decide.
Don't think it should be a hard call to make once you know exactly what you want or need.
Not promoting nor recommending cbr250r (the lesser its sold, the more exclusive it remains, better for me/us) but every now and then my bike (including I) still get full, undivided attention when I gear up and ride, irrespective of if its through the busy market area or in any mall parking or office parking. People still point finger and say 'Look, thats the CBR250r!'
Feels good
Not sure if it would have been the same with other bikes in my budget range

Its been 23 odd days and I'm still waiting for my left fairing, front mudguard and radiator, among other things. Although, for the uninitiated, it's still my everyday commuter.Originally posted by aargee View PostI guess its Bladeboy, how many days did you have to wait for the RVM's?

Oh, am 100% sure there are more cbr250, or any other bike for that matter, who do not belong to XBHP.Originally posted by srivaatsav View PostSorry my friend ... You got it wrong ... STILL there are owners who are not in XBHP face quality issues
Am also very sure, 101% sure there will be issues with some percent of any bike(let me put it as any product model, bikes, computer, cars, human beings{we are also produced without any quality check
}) manufactured till date.
So your are probably right, actually you are right.
Also sometimes, quality issue is very subjective. Eg; Rusting for some is quality issue, for me its not as I easily take care of it by washing it with Kerosene and applying lube, do it frequently, it should not rust. There you go, 1 quality issue gone
Another eg; Expecting very very high quality part on a fairly economical bike and not getting it can also be considered quality issue if not delivered.
Majority of the issues (Note: I don't say all, but majority talked about here in XBHP) are subjective!!!
Overall, I just want to say that I consider myself as not having any quality issues, although I would have been a much happier customer if I had got Ninja 650 like parts in this bike for the same price
I would have been even more happier (Happyness X 100 times) if it had come with an ALL PURPOSE tyre which does no skid on any surface. For some this is also quality issue cos tyre is not upto quality
