Your logic and reasoning is irrefutable, I can see that. You are right; I seem to have mixed up the dist/time equation. Thanks, nsengg, for the calculations

From what I have read both PSD 130 and 140 has a speed rating of (H) where as stock ContiGo has (S) where H>S. Maybe I am wrong. Please clarify. You are correct on the Load rating part PSD 130 has only 62 and conti has 66 I guess.

            • Hello Guys it been almost two weeks and i have driven my CBR 370km's, It has given me a mileage of around 34.59Kmpl, But i think this is on the higher side bcz it is till in Running in period and i normally drive it in the range of 65-70 with some outburst of 80 and once or twice i have touched 102 as well.

And any body who wants a Paddock stand they can get it from Ganpati Auto Gurgaon Sector 14 at Rs2850. They have one in the spare with them right now.

Rs 2850 is on higher side, i think it cost around 1500 rs.

                    • Has anyone tried fitting any sort of hugger for the rear wheel? The tires throw up too much slush during the rains my pillion ends up with mud all over her even after a short ride.

                        congrats man and stay safe
Speaking of records i just completed a ~400km trip from Blore to Mlore via the disastrous shiradi in just a little over 4 hours. Had no intention of speeding to make it in time but the roads were empty and the bike never complained doing 120-130 throughout the trip. However did notice the bike does not cross 135 in 6th gear. It actually gets stuck at the 8k rpm mark and does not move forward. Also the RPM needle does not move past 9k rpm in 5th gear. IF anyone has had this issue plz let me know whats causing it. Thanks

Btw seen an all black 250R at the Neela Apartments, Huskur gate, Electronic city on Saturday.. anyone from here?

                        • i do not know about the issue but if you pull from 100 odd in 6th it wont even touch 135. you gotta pull the bike till 130's in 5th and then 6th. people claim of doing 150's and 160 however i could never push the bike beyond 148 speedo indicated inspite of dead straight roads and completely tugged in.

got the chain checked and new filter and everything all set.. never could touch 150.

                          another question guys..

what are you folks doing about the injector cleaning ??
no one talks bout it. my car gets it every 5k

I have done a max of 137kmph till date(speedo indicated and upright position) and that too I had to rev it up till 9k in 5th gear. Never had guts nor space to go above but yes, felt like the pulling power decreses after 130kmph. Is it normal or there is some issue.

wind blast and aerodynamics play a major role along with that.. correct chain slack and tyre pressure is important.

to be true it just dosen't have enough juice to redline in 6th gear. too tall for the engine to pull.. infact most of the bikes dont pull it to redline in topmost gear.
however 5th gear it should get a cutoff.maybe a longer stretch next time.

else a perfomance filter and FFE will give a 2 hp bump.. and a 15T in front should make it a true 100 MPH machine
