  • Hey guys,

Is anyone around 5'5'' height owning a CBR? Or do you know anyone or can comment on the comfort level when such a person sits on it?

This query has got nothing to do with me, one of my friends want to know this. He is around 5' 5''
    CBR250R |
    Bajaj Pulsar 180 - dts i |
    Bajaj CT 100

Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight.

It was not that far on the map.

If money is really not a concern, why dont you get the parts in real carbon fibre.. Function over form.. Just kidding. Btw, carbon fibre parts are available for cbr. You may find it on the internet.

I am 5'6 and have no issues with comfort or handling. I think 5'5 also should not be any problem. He may need to get used to the weight though..
You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!

with hyd traffic even cycle commuting is horrible. so dosent make a diffrence whether its a cycle or a motorcycle.. so go ahead and buy it. you will get FE figure of 30 +-1 in city traffic.

i meant i dont mind spending 500-1000 bucks extra for the vinyl.
carbon fibre actual part will cost a bomb. even if i buy them
sourcing them is another pain. not worth for a 1.7 lakh bike.
maybe for a ducati someday i will for sure get real carbon fibre to shread some weight.

Yep, whoever said reliable performance was child's play & is inexpensive

And slip-on I highly doubt will give you a 10% boost, but will certainly give you attention from cops unless you change the header also; but again, those have been discussed at post #8200. Slip-ons should be available at any local (Pudupet in Chennai for instance) & not necessarily at one single location.

See the complete technical data here - Honda CBR 250 R S-H25SO1-HRSS Slip-On Line (SS) - Akrapovic)

Except industry leaders, no bloke can publish such robust testing results; if you're able to prove that 87db is less than 91db as per law, then you don't even have to worry about the cop's menace.

BTW, get it through ebay or ask someone to bring from abroad, it should cost you less than half of what it costs here.

i was also thinking for it but droped the idea because of its price and i don't ride my bike much so its of no use for me to spend that much for slip on.
