Check that post. Check the picture. And check those 2 bolts. Remove them and saree guard will come off. You can re screw the bolts in again just to cover up. Or leave it as such.

Also please advice on how to remove it at home itself?! Appreciate your help~!

OT: Best advantage with an FFE is people loitering around on the street get off as soon as they hear the scream. I am not much of a decibel fan when it comes to single cylinders, but if I ever get one, this would be the reason.
Which is why a gixxer with a racefit growler is my most practical solution for Indian roads, rather than twin horns and stuff!

On topic: There is a bit of bubble formation on the paint on the upper right side silver part of the fairing (just below the handlebar). Have shown this to the SVC, they said they'd get back soon. Don't have a picture now, will post one soon.

Also, my front brake issue has been solved, some rubber bracket on the master cylinder being the culprit. And while we were at it, they checked my front brake pad and said it'll be good for another 500kms. I, btw, have 7600 odd kms on the ODO.

Once i had a long conversation with my SVC manager and he told me that any bubble formation on painted surface is definately covered under warranty.

              • Do you guys think 12 k is too less for chain and sprockets to be changed? If anyone has changed please let me know the cost of both and from where I will get it in Pune. Can that be claimed in warranty I know you cannot but still....I asked in Kothari Wheels they said above 7k as Stunner's chain & sprockets only costs 7k.
Aargee cost of ContiGo and Dunlop is Rs.2900 with fittings in Lucky's Tyre Stop - Pune to be edited in post #8200.
I had been to Lucky's Tyre Stop and there was the salesman from ContiGo and I told him how bad is the experience with ContiGO he made me talk with his manager and told him the same. I even asked him weather there is any difference in the first lot and the newer ones he said no and he said I have not any complain from customers except for 2 in monsoons and my third.

Those are racing windscreen's used in 125 and 250's for the riders to duck in properly when slip-streaming, you can make it if you approach any who deals with fiberglass. they can make it for you.. or contact people who make after market faring for bikes... even a local mechanic should be able to point you to the rite person...

Here is the lap time for CBR250R.. 1:50.349 and that's the Lap record and 1.5 sec ahead of all Ninjas.. People who were saying CBR is for commuting will have to take back what they said for sure and its clear that CBR250R is a race bike like CBR150R but dressed up as a commuter.

The best team in ind racing chose CBR250R over ninja which was used by them in the earlier season for a good reason. these are not stock bikes.

3.Advanced timing adjustment for peak power at higher RPM to cope with new cam timing.

Considering first one of mine changed at 10890 odd, yours is far better , but the next one I changed at 22660, but the sprocks can work for next 1000 odd Kms for sure, which is like 13K odd Kms.

The price of chain and sprockets (Front and rear) does not cost more than 2k. There is a post from @Sudeep few pages back, check it for actual price.

Thanks.. will definately check if someone makes it around. There are db screens but they are too costly..

                        • Tyre

Hey guys, I got the tri color last month (4th APR) and have done around 1400kms on it. One of my friend and fellow CBR owner noticed a crack on the rear tyre, what I want to clarify is that, is this crack a manufacturing defect or has it been caused due to road conditions? The picture has been attached.
If you ride like there's no tomorrow, there won't be.

                                1. After market like Akraprovic increases 10% of total power.
                                So for
                                Cbr 250 10% power = 25*10/100=2.5hp
                                For 1000cc bikes and 600cc(which have around 150hp )
                                10% of power = 150*10/100=15hp
So it is upto you weather it is worth or not .
My point is it make huge difference on 1000cc bikes than in 250cc ones . (aagree please correct me if i am wrong ).
P.S. : I will go for Akro. for just the insane noise of it not for performance.
Bro i have installed akrapovic EC slip ons on my baby ceeber.....the most noticeable thing is improvement in initial torque below 3000 rpm....now it just jumps right from 1200 rpm....performance gain is slightly noticeable after 100 km/hr....and your warrenty does not get void if you install slip ons....it gets void if you are opting for full kit with optional header....after installing it the avg. has slightly improved don't know how....a minor jump from 30 km/l to 31.5 km/l in city...and boy....it makes insane sound after 5000 rpm.....a growling monster....even my friend's busa does not make hat much sound from his danmoto exhausts

my rear mono suspension has leaked don't know how....had gone to asc they said that they will change the whole unit including springs in warrenty.....had my left front foot peg changed today for nominal rs 110....including washing ,polishing, lubeing chain....
