        Yes its an O2 Sensor... 2014 R15 comes with closed loop Fi with improved ECU.. But O2 sensor(Closed loop) was never confirmed or mentioned anywhere. But it Runs on closed loop. You can even see the CO2 Checking bold (Bold below Rear brake pedal in exhaust) is also missing in the Exhaust. Earlier versions had them to check pollution levels. i heard people are also getting better mileage from 2014 Versions (45-50kmpl as compared to 40-45kmpl). Any 2014 ver owners??

          speaking of mileage, i am consistently getting a mileage of only 31-32 kmpl for the last few months despite regularly maintained tyre pressure and chain maintenance etc (before the last few months it used to be around 35-38 kmpl), no matter what kind of riding style i subject the bike to.

            As @siddharthsure said , it is indeed the O2 sensor, it runs on a new ECU and wiring is also new compared to older models.
            Only these models will work on FI Station.

                How come no one has ever confirmed this? Good to know anyways!

                    Will post the results mate. Thanks again for the feedback. Got a cover for the bike and taped the fuel lid area with plastic for the time being.

                    Also, if any other preventive measures for monsoons, kindly lemme know.

                      Done a cosmetic makeover to my bike. And man, I have to tell you that the bike looks quite bigger than usual after this change.

                          It's a minor one, the lower fairing is changed to white from black. Though a small change, the difference it makes to the bike is huge. May be the pics doesn't do any justice. But viewing it in person one may notice the change.

                              I own v1 version but lately I am facing some problems. Though, I posted in v1 thread and yet there is not any replies. As I know that v1 and v2 share same odometer display. Mainly, my display is showing some sort of partial texts during on and off. Please click HERE for more detailed info.!

                                looks like an issue with the digital display. But you say that it also appears even when you turn off, so it may be due to some faults in the wiring/electrical supply too. Have you taken it to the ASC? What did they tell?
