My query was with the radiator fan ! Does it really work ?? i have never seen it working ... I need to know if this has gone kaput or does it work only after reaching the high point of Heating ??? I am curious to know this.. Thanks

Looks like your ride is just doing fine then, I thought your fan didn't work at all. The fan is only supposed to work when the engineOriginally posted by salman_sk View Post.........................

Hi all ,
it has been 32 days since i got my baby and have already covered 1400 km, the 1st servicing was done on 11th feb and no major issues were found during the servicing, but all of a sudden today morning i found engine oil leaking from the air filter box , it leaks even when the engine is turned off and leaks very badly when the engine is running, i m surprised to see as what the engine oil is doing up in the air filter box, during the 1st servicing the engine oil was not overfilled , why this issue suddenly after 2 weeks of servicing , and before 1st servicing i occasionally pulled it beyond 7000 rpm, also i noticed after the servicing when i tried to push it beyond 7000 rpm the bike vibrates a lot and the engine seems to run out of breath on higher rpm.
guys please help me on this
Thanks

Price hike is news to me. Usually before the budget there are rumors about price hikes. Could be one of those.Originally posted by keshavrana View Posthello guys... i am thinking of buying this bike in march(as soon as i reach home), heard bajaj is going to raise the price the again

Another scare today. The front simply starts slipping on braking if it's not strictly on a straight line. An ever so slight departure from a straight line, pull the brakes and stare at the prospect of sliding into the dusty street. This is scary man!!! My Tyres are 12.5 K old and I don't know if they should be replaced. But one thing for sure, these incidents never happened even in the monsoons when I used to ride at decent speeds in the city. Very confidence sapping this, surely.
Anyone gone for a tyre change yet? Pirelli Sport Demons in 150 section available anywhere in Mumbai? or 140 even? and what about the Pirelli Corsa Diablo? Do we have them in Mumbai?
Also the application of front brakes are not activating the tail light anymore consistently. Gotta head to the svc.The hero always RIDES into the sunset!

Been facing another issue now. There was a plastic banging noise from rear sometimes but has reduced considerably after taking it to svc center. But now I hear continuous khat khat sound sometimes and am not able to replicate the problem. It is clearly audble at low speeds. Sound seems to be coming from front or the middle part of the bike while riding not really sure. Please advice. Even if I take it to svc center again am not sure how do I replicate the problem as it occurs randomly nor do I know how to explain it to svc guys.

I think i have also experienced the same and by trial n error, i realized when u apply only front brakes during sudden braking by making use of clutch... bike does tend to skid but if u use both brakes together by applying clutch simultaneously u will experience great braking and no skidding. try out it worked for me. Making use of only front brakes for sudden braking maybe causes the bike to skidOriginally posted by Doga View PostAnother scare today. Avoid using the clutch while braking. It must be used only for changing gears. For optimal braking, use both brakes and additionally downshift in the meantime making place for engine braking. This combination is enough to brake from insane to sane speeds within seconds.Originally posted by sanjana k View PostI think i have also experienced the same and by trial n error, i realized when u apply only front brakes during sudden braking by making use of clutch... bike does tend to skid but if u use both brakes together by applying clutch simultaneously u will experience great braking and no skidding. try out it worked for me. @ Doga - Being slick tires, they maybe up for a change IMO, not sure though. Dukers can explain better.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
