As of now the headlights are reflectors and not projectors... They H7 Phillips Xtreme Vision bulbs, so I can either switch em to H4 and use both lights together or put a pair of projectors

I am pretty sure if you are running 2 H7s you will need a ballast of some sort to keep the electricals from blowing up or catching fire. Even if you switch to 2 H4s you will still be drawing a lot more power than the battery and stator coil can generate.

Check the voltage I can bet they are running at less than 75% efficiency. If you plan to keep running dual head lamps get a relay or risk frying your battery.

Hmm ok ok makes sense...
Will I be facing the same problem of risking frying my electricals or catching fire if I switch to projectors? As they come with a ballast right? Will I still need to upgrade the battery? Forgive the noobish questions, I'm still new to this customisation game

No issues mate... ideally you should not be drawing more than 60w while running the headlamp, however I have seen a few run upto 75w bulbs on the stock battery and stator coil... I do not what the long term affects are but I am pretty sure it will be draining the battery much sooner. Even if you are running 2 bulbs simultaneously you can use a ballast, there is no need of switching to a projector.

Does it mean the rubber bushings are gone or may be something else is wrong? Will try to take it to svc tomorrow

So the issue wa sindeed of rubber bushings. It was worn. There is no relative movement after the replacement.

Doga very intriguing... the rubber bushes usually last way over 100,000kms ( I have never kept a bike past that so I wouldn't know how long they last exactly)

Did you question them as to the reason for the wear? I have a feeling the mounting was done incorrectly, only reason for the premature failure.

woah.. there seems to have a problem with the website last night
multiple posts, date/time difference between what shows up as 'last post' and the actual last post on a thread and even the 'new posts' link doesn't really show the 'new posts'
some problem with the db ? are the mods aware of it ? wish there was a 'contact mod' link somewhere on the website

What's the rating of the armours in your jacket?
Also this being a textile should be difficult to wear in summers. How did it fair in the Delhi heat?
Hey Doga,

Sorry for the late reply. It's more of a winter jacket. Though it does have an inner lining which can be removed. For the ratings, the description of the jacket is the most detailed info I have.

Would be expensive to ship it to Hyderabad. Maybe if you happen to come to Delhi anytime or I fly down to Hyd, this might work.

Could you check what the shipping costs involved would be, because if it is reasonable I would not mind paying for the shipping as well.
