My only doubt was am I in the incorrect position or was it the straight handlebar that was causing the back pain.

Damn it my iPhone sent it again.!!!

The straight handlebars are known to cause wrist pains but not back pains. I think you might be using a stiffer suspension setting or have the wrong riding posture.

Yes the position might be the culprit, because the suspension setting is at it's softest. Speaking of rear suspension, I found a shop here in Pune which makes a rear mono shock adjustment tool for just 150 bucks, which is not included in the tool kit. Will put details once I procure one.

Its a simple crescent shaped tool with a long handle. 150rs seems ok. Or maybe another bikes' suspension adjustment tool could be a direct fit. All you need to do to adjust the rear monoshock is to place that tool on to the ring that has notches on the monoshock and turn it (doesn't require much force either). I've seen some guys just use a screwdriver and place it on the notches and tap it with a hammer.

Dude retrofitting abs would cost you more than 40k as I enquired about this in svc .that guy told me only abs module will cost us for 25-30k excluding all brake cables and front 300 mm disc etc etc which are necessary parts for completing the "ABS"

Crouching position is more aerodynamic. The speeds above 100 climb up like crazy fast.

You are right, but sitting in crouch position on a bike like Duke exerts more pressure on the back. You can easily do 100 without crouching and save your back.

I want to install handguards on my d200 , KTM quoted 2200. Is there a cheaper alternative?

Any specific reason for wanting to install handguards ? Rather invest in a decent pair of gloves.

You can use bajaj made handguards which are much more cheap. Thatz what the dealer told me. Don't know much about it. Plus you will have to change to 390's handle bar in case you need to add the guards.

Hey all ! My d200 was so good until a couple of months back. Later the bike started to feel blocked in the lower revs and during every gear shift , the bike doesn't respond for smaller twist of the throttle and suddenly pulls back at a point . I've even tried with the SVC where they changed the throttle cable , spark plugs and stuff but still remains the same .
Im worried If I will start hating the bike .
Has anyone come across this issue ? Any solutions pl

See the air filter too.. it may need replacement.

I was also hoping if that would solve. I'm gonna have a look at it myself first
